BioWell Labs Brain Power | Premium Brain Supplement with Alpha GPC
I did notice a little boost. This is a 100 day supply, so the cost does seem high, but it's not when compared to others. This is made in Poland and lacks our comforting US certifications. This one did not wow me enough to look past this. It's a decent product, but I would not get it again.

Innovative Nootropic Formulation
I don't know how many stars this product deserves. Here is my evaluation. First, this product has components that I have not seen in other nootropic formulations. The combination is indeed innovative, and formulated to provide synergistic action. In my personal experience, I did not feel any different taking these capsules. It is very hard to test by you and me. Clinical studies are needed to see if this formula can do any good or not. So, since we don't have such information, you can try it to see if it does anything for you.A reason for my concern is that I don't see any quality assurance, such as GMP certification and 3rd party testing for purity and potency on the bottle. The bottle says this product is made in Poland. I don't know how reliable the manufacturing is there. The web site for BioWell Labs, the manufacturer, says that their products are GMP certified, that their process involves testing of the final product, and complies with all US regulations. They also offer a money back guarantee. So, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and giving 5 stars, but I remain concerned. Maybe it is worth fewer stars.

Great formulation, but individual ingredients are on the lower side...

Please consult with your doctor before adding this supplement to your routine! The ingredients list in BioWell "Brain Power" is quite nice.Rhodiola, Bacopa, Alpha GPC, Gotu Kola and magnesium for starters.Unfortunately, the amounts of each are on the lower side.At one capsule per serving, this dosage seems more in par with a beginner, not so much someone who knows the correct doses to get optimal brain performance. At 100 doses per bottle, this bottle will last over 3 months. An addition of BioPerine (for absorption) would make this supplement more bioavailable. The capsules are easy to swallow and have no flavor nor odor.As with any supplement, check with your doctor to make sure this supplement can be added to your routine!

BELLS, WHISTLES AND SIRENS!!!
Claims are off the wall as to efficacy. This formula is made in Poland, NO THIRD PARTY TESTED, nothing regarding the origin or ingredients, and the US company address is 10120 West Flamingo Road Las Vegas which is an Albertsons shopping center with a PO BOX drop. MY opinion STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!NOTE: My VINE review of supplements reflect my Research, First Hand Experience and Consultation with my Physician. The FDA has not reviewed or commented on these supplements. Some come with age and health advisories and you should ALWAYS consult a health professional before using any supplement.

Overpriced
For $40, I think this product is a bust. I never noticed a difference in cognition when taking it. I am unfamiliar with some of the ingredients that it promotes. However, the Alpha-GPC seems to be a low dose considering my creatine gummies have more than this product. Other brands have 3x as much and cost less. I've looked up some of the other products used and this also seems to be the case. You can get a much more potent blend if you buy these products individually. You might even be able to do so and still spend less than this bottle. Overall, I think it is a poor value and I find the ingredients to make no difference in my cognition after having taking them everyday for two months.

A solid assortment of nootropics, but the price is a bit high.
This supplement has a nice assortment of nootropics and vitamins/minerals that do have solid evidence towards assisting cognitive clarity and function, however some of the dosages are a bit lower than what you see used in the research studies for said effects, making me uncertain as to their ability to exert much impact. As an example, studies involving Rhodiola rosea are usually in the 200-600mg/day range, but this supplement includes only 60mg, while Bacopa was studied in dosages of 300-600mg/day but only 100mg is present here. For that reason, I do find the price point to be somewhat unreasonable - for almost $45, it does seem a bit strange that some of the dosages are so much lower than the dosages used in actual research studies that established any benefit. With that said, it is a 100 day supply, so that should be taken into account as well when comparison shopping. However, if you're interested in a specific ingredient in this supplement, I would advise doing research to compare and see what the recommended and/or researched dosage is for that ingredient, and then comparison shop to see if it might be more price effective to simply try that ingredient on its own at the more established dosage.Anecdotally, I do think this has mild cognitive benefit for me, but it is not necessarily enough for me to repurchase this specific supplement. Additionally, some of the ingredients (Rhodiola) are generally advised to be taken in cycles, rather than permanently, so you would want to take breaks from this supplement anyway. I may search out a standalone Bacopa and/or Gotu Kola supplement once I'm done with this, as I'm interested to see if the mild positive benefit may have been derived from these ingredients as they're the ones I've never tried before. As one last note, Alpha GPC can cause nausea/headaches for some people. It's an ingredient in some energy drinks, so if you've ever noticed certain energy drinks cause that effect, I would recommend checking if they may have Alpha GPC to rule out that as a cause before purchasing this supplement. I don't personally experience this and actually find Alpha GPC to be a desirable and positive ingredient for me, but I've had friends who do experience nausea from it so I wanted to make a note. Nobody wants to spend $45 and then discover it causes uncomfortable side effects for them!
