Works with Foldables!!!
After nearly buying the Kishi or the Backbone I spotted this on my search.Less than half the price of the Backbone and the most important part is that the USBC is on the LEFT side! Now I can use my Fold4 or Magic V2 in it and the screen no longer has to drop down.PROSWorks with foldablesLeft side USBCFits larger phonesHalo sticks and triggersCONSsmall buttonslittle cramped if you have large handsright stick can be a little awkward to useAll in all everything I was looking for in a mobile controller as I really only have it to play retro games and emulators.

Excellent
Tried this X2S-C after returning a Kishi V2. The X2S is currently 33% cheaper, but it's twice as good. Setup is easy. Companion app carries calibration settings for stick / trigger dead zones & button layouts. The backbone covers the whole phone creating a solid feel in the hands. Works perfectly in-game. Very impressed.

Genuinely impressive.
I got this for a niece, but ended up having a few games with it first to try it out, as I didn’t want to end up giving her something that was unusable. It feels really quite solid in the hands, and the rubber back helps you to get a good grip. It charges quickly, and you can even use it as a through-charger(which was what this kind of USB-driven stuff was originally built for, but manufacturers never incorporate) for your phone. My Samsung phone fitted in with its case on, though admittedly it’s a slim case, and the controller had no problems syncing.Honestly, I’ve never used one of these before, so this was quite an eye-opener, as I really didn’t expect it to be nearly as responsive as it was. I kind of thought it might be something of a gimmick rather than an actual useable controller, but once I’d got the hang of the button placement, it became second nature. Is it small? Yes. But that’s the point. If you’re looking for perfect game play, then don’t play on something this small! Is it useable? Absolutely. The buttons are really amazingly sensitive, and your brain and fingers soon learn the new configurations and the closeness of all the controls.Plus, hey, it’s probably not considered a boon, but at least it stops you spiralling into a marathon session, because I think if you used it for more than an hour or two, you’d have to take a break, or get cramp!I did have to spend a while trying to work out what buttons did what for each new game I tried, especially the triggers, and for me this was a confusing thing. Having said that though, my niece just plugged in and seemed to get it all from the get-go with every game, so that may be an age thing ;PAt the end of the day I think this is an impressive little gadget. It’s solidly built and feels good in the hands; the controls are responsive, the buttons/triggers are very definite in their response, and if there’s any lag I can’t detect it. It’s a good price for a compact controller, and it doesn’t feel like they’ve cut any corners or compromised at all. If you’re in the market for a super-compact controller, this should make it to your shortlist for sure.

Was amazing for the 2 days that it worked properly
Bought this for use with my S24 Ultra. It fit and worked perfectly for 2 days until the A button stop responding. I was playing an slow paced RPG game so the A button was not under any additional stress outside of regular use. Reached out to the GameSir support team but of course I received no response. Will be avoiding them in the future.

Fantastic
Fits my phone perfectly. Great quality and is quite snug with my phone. Relatively cheap as well!Buttons feel like they have good tactile feedback, and is comfy in your hands.Would recommend.

Decent, but no charging!
The controller itself is decent - a little on the small side, but definitely a decent build. The buttons and sticks are directly in line, which makes using the right stick and buttons fiddly until you get used to it.My main issue is that passthrough charging doesn't work at all when using the X2s Type-C on my Z Fold 5. I've searched for a workaround, and contacted GameSir, but it looks like it's a problem that they are never going to fix.I think this should be made more clear in the product listing!Should have gone for the Bluetooth version!

Great for mobile gaming
The mobile gaming controller offers a seamless gaming experience on various devices. The joysticks are responsive, and the controller is comfortable to hold for extended gaming sessions. Compatible with multiple gaming platforms, it enhances gameplay significantly. This controller is a must for serious mobile gamers seeking precision and ease of use.

Best for foldables , great once you get to know it
EDITED :I am not much of a mobile gamer, as my hands suck due to a nerve disease, and holding a phone for more than a few minutes at a time, as well as playing with on screen controllers, just doesn't work for me.I tried a few solutions for that, from bluetooth controllers to another instance of a 'side-holding' controller from a famous brand. And though it was better than nothing, it had a lot of issues. The gamesir isn't perfect either, BUT, and that's a but that will push me to persevere in trying to use it, its USB C connector being on the left allows the use of folds (in my case an OPPO Find N3), and even the giant bump of the camera fits fine without pushing it away. The software works neatly too, just grab the app and spend a while familiarising yourself, it has profiles for most common games, but you can still personalise.Still, as you can see on the pic, the result is not too bad, and I know that I'm going to do my best to use it

Great controller for price!
Very happy with my chose. A lot cheaper than a backbone. Don't listen to reviews saying it does not fit some phones, it stretches to fit my 10 inch tablet.Controller feels really good and I like the clickiness of the buttons. Seems to work without the app but I recommend installing it to be able to configure and update firmware. Might have to buy a second one if my wife doesn't put it done!

Rereview of an amazing product
This is a re-review of this item. I originally gave it 3 stars as my experience was hampered with the shoulder buttons, which made some games unplayable, and at best, very annoying. The issue I had was the bumper buttons would register multiple (sometimes up to 5 or 6 in rapid succession) presses when only pressed once, and although the controller has a turbo feature, this was not on at all, it was a hardware fault. I had sent back the controller for a full refund and bought the G8 Galileo, which is an absolute incredible piece of kit, and something I have another review for!Well, the company reached out and asked what they could do to resolve the issue, and I informed them that I had already returned the controller for a refund, and full disclosure here, they agreed to send me a replacement controller free of charge to retest the controller. I have to say (it's clearly positive due to the fact that this is now a 5 star review from a 3 star) the issue I had with the previous controller has not once reared it's ugly head since testing the new controller! This has been a much better and smoother experience than before, and the fact that the company went above and beyond to fix the situation is even better and excellent customer service outside of Amazon returns policy. So an overview of the controller. It's a brilliant colour that's based on the Nintendo 2DS lavender edition, and although I wouldn't personally have chosen the color, I have grown to love it!The shoulder buttons... They work flawlessly. It's amazing that they've managed to get them to work so we'll on this size scale, and the fact the triggers have hall effect sensors and full analogue, not haretriggers, is a step up from the previous offerings. The face buttons are clicky and comfortable to press, and although the placment of the right stick can get in the way of the A,B,X and Y buttons, the stick is small enough that you won't be too bothered by this and reaching around isn't an issue!!Segway to the Sticks. They are so good!! They are a lot smaller than regular sticks, but this hasn't been an issue to adjust to, as they just feel so Damn good! These are also Hall Effect sensors and so far after 2 weeks of solid use I have not had any type of stick drift, and if they are anything like the G8 Galileo, then stick drift won't be an issue. The feel... It feels really solid in the hand and comfortable thanks to the quite hefty rubber grips on each side at the back of the controller. I have large hands and although each side may seem cramped, it's definitely usable for average gaming for me. Mileage may vary based on bigger hands though, and there is going to be a point of diminishing return where hands that are just too big will not be able to use this functionaly, which is why the G8 Galileo exists.Summary. This controller is a very good, solidly built gem, and thanks to the price it's the best in its price range by far. It beats out many more expensive controllers too, which is crazy for the $46 price tag! Sure you lose some comfort due to the compact size, but that's what this is; a compact telescopic controller that you can take on the go with you. And it does that very very well.Overall, thanks to the company for their excellent customer service and for sending me a replacement unit for free to fix my initial issue. I'm glad to see it was a unit fault and not a manufacturer fault. Hopefully this review helps you make a purchasing decision and answers some questions you may have. Happy gaming! 5/5UPDATE: It has been almost 3 months since I posted this review and have been using the Gamesit X2s USB C, and I have to say that it still feels as good as the first day I started using it. All the buttons are still excellent, and the sticks have had ZERO drift thanks to the sturdy and genius Hall Effect system. The triggers also have been a joy to use, and have no inaccurate presses of any kind. The whole thing has gone through hundreds of hours of testing and as I say, it is as fresh as day one. It never gets uncomfortable either, and I can use it for hours at a time, even with large hands! So, I wanted to add this to the review, but I needed to have the hands on experience to update. The verdict? It is still a perfect 5/5 from me. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

One of the Best controllers out there.
This is one lf the best controllers out there, infact i would say this controller is better than the Razer Kishi v1 or the Ninjadog Astra (Bsp-D3)This controller has hall effect joystick triggers which are better than potentiometer sticks as it doesnt get stick drift. (If you didnt understand what i just said, cheap controllers use potentiometer joysticks but it has a tendency to fail & cause something known as stick drift - controller detects joystick as moving even if you arent moving it, even the ps4 controller has potentiometer stick & if you search online, there are lots of customers complaining of stick drift.)Even the gamesir X2 uses potentiometer joysticks, where as this one uses the better Hall effect joysticks which last longer & less prone to fail. Also this controller is direct connection via USB-C. No bluetooth or inbuilt battery, but it serves my purpose of playing emulation via retroarch. If you're planning to buy, i would suggest buy this controller over the normal Gamesir X2. You wont regret it.
