10 Red Strawberry Bare Root Plants for Growing - Extremely Hardy

Plants looked dead when they arrived, however I planted them according to the directions and watered them, and they produced leaves within 2 days. They have not advanced to the strawberry phase yet so I can't speak to the flavor.

These arrived in great condition. Just be sure to get them in some dirt within a day or so or I'm sure they'd die off in the shipping packaging.The roots were healthy and since planting they are thriving!Update: Still growing strong after a couple weeks - great purchase!

I received a broken stick in a bag, went ahead and planted it and it stayed a broken stick. Don't waste your money.

For my first time using bare root plants I have been blown away. These strawberries had very little green growth just 6 days ago. I planted them the day they arrived after soaking the roots for just one hour. Every time I look at them I see more healthy growth. I can’t wait to have the fruit they hopefully produce!

I order 4 of these, only purchased one the first time and then 3 more after they started growing. My second orders did have a few dead on arrival that wouldn’t take but for the most part they grew beautifully. I highly recommend over seeds, as seeds are so much harder to get berries from.

Came looking dead . However, 6 of them lived so far. Not growing very fast

The original plants looked like just roots. But I planted them and within a week they had a 4 inch plant on top of the roots grew very fast.

Just remember the first year of planting the plant you won't get a harvest. They are looking so great can't wait till next season. Hoping the berries will taste great. But can tell you my plants are all doing great all 10 growing.
