Product description A complete batter mix suitable for yorkshire puddings and toad in the hole, the perfect accompaniment to any roast dinner. Just add water. Each pack is 3.5kg and makes approximately 100 portions. - 1. Place the weighed out mix in a mixing bowl. 2. Select a whisk mixer attachment. 3. Blend the required amount of water and mix on a slow speed for 1 minute. 4. Scrape down and continue to mix for a further 4 minutes on medium speed. 5. Allow to rest for up to 1 hour. 6. Pre Heat convection oven to 190 Deg C / 375 Deg F. Conventional oven: 220 Deg C / 425 Deg F / Gas Mark 7. 7. Grease Yorkshire Pudding tins well with fat and heat until the fat produces a blue haze. Pour batter into tins. 8. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes. Ingredients WHEAT Flour (Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Dried EGG White, Skimmed MILK Powder, Dried Whole EGG, Salt, Potato Starch, Raising Agents (E500, E450), Emulsifier (Rice Starch E475, E471).

Firstly, this product is superb! Not like the "new" Aunt Bessies version that used to be fantastic but they refined it so now it needs two eggs. (The reason I like this product is because even at last minute.com you can make Yorkshire puddings without anything other than water....).However, I've had issues twice when ordering this with use-by dates being within a few days (once only 3 days to go!) to use it up.... and 3.5KG is a lot to use up! Normally a packet such as this lasts us a few months.The last order however had over 6 months to use it, which is much more like it ....This makes perfect Yorkshire puddings every single time, people have commented on how amazing they are, and you simply cannot go wrong....Highly recommended!

Great stuff, but check 'use by' date on arrival.
The product is great, no argument there at all, but when you notice that on the date of delivery the 'use by' date is a couple of days away, it kind of puts you off.. They might make lovely Yorkshire puds, but getting through 3.5kg in that time isn't going to happen..
