I was going to hang this outside, maybe on the deck…but I love what it says and it is very pretty and rustic looking so I hung it in my back room overlooking the woods and garden. The price is just right. I have ordered several of these metal signs and they are all lovely and gift worthy.

The image, crispy and with vivid colors, is impressive. For that alone, five stars would be an understatement. However, the metal sheet is thin, and this is not good. The problem is that some manufacturers of these metal signs (tin or aluminum, typically), to save a buck in material and lower the cost of transportation (from China, usually), started to cut corners in the design: they make the sheet too thin and then device some clever way to provide overall rigidity; in this case, by folding the edges to make them thicker. Theoretically, this gives more rigidity; in practice, it is a double-edged sword. If, by chance, the sign arrives at your place bent or crooked, it is very difficult to fix, which happened to me with this sign. I saw it coming with other signs and thanked the S&H folks every time for not damaging it. I was not that lucky this time. My advice to you is to avoid metal signs that have folded edges. The makers will try to make it look like a great feature but don't be fooled. I learned my lesson. I have many other thicker tin signs, which are awesome. The price is ok, though.

this tin sign is very pretty, and looks just like it did in the listing photo. four pre-drilled holes in the corners make it easy to hang. just what i wanted.
