The Big Chubby Microfiber Wash Sponge is an extra thick memory foam pad covered in the softest 70/30 blend of microfiber. This wash sponge is inside-stitched for superior surface softness and no edges. No edges means it can scrub the surface to remove dirt and contaminants safely and without scratching. Advanced microfiber is a unique blend of open-ended microfiber which allows loose dirt to be gently lifted from the surface and retained within the fibers of the sponge reducing surface friction that could scratch paint and surfaces. This wash sponge can be used either wet or dry as a dust remover. The memory foam construction allows it to retain shape even after numerous washes. Great sponge by a reputable brand at a great price!
This spring is great! No scratches whatsoever after washing my car with it.I bought a sponge for twice the price at Autozone (it was their default brand) and it broke immediately. Oppositely, this was cheaper and far more durable.

Great sponge. I was looking for something a little nicer in a sponge that would reduce paint swirls since I've gotten into detailing my car a bit more. I previously had one of those orange microfiber ones from autozone or wherever and it did OK, but you can feel the quality of this a lot more.The entire sponge is covered in fine microfiber and you can't get to the rough fabric below like you can in the cheaper sponges. This thing really holds a LOT of soapy water as it is rather thick.I find that you have to work a little harder to get tree droppings or whatever else is on your paint, but that is the point. A rough sponge will get things off easier and it will also put swirls in your paint easier! All in all, it takes a little more effort to wash with but I am confident i am not damaging my car when doing so.

Too stiff
Though the microfiber is extremely soft the fibers can also be loosened if you use a nylon brush and it feels like a wool pad gliding across the glass and paint. The huge con with this sponge is that it’s way to stiff as if it was meant to be used for flat panels only. So I replaced the sponge inside with a softer one.

Not flexible enough
It soaks up lots of soap suds, but it's a stiff sponge that lacks a good squishy feel. Bought it for my new motorcycle, but I can't use it on the bike.

I used this brush for washing my family’s bikes and it was very good. This sponge is also massive.

Excellent Vehicle Wash Sponge
Works really well. Its a stiffer sponge than i've used in the past, so you dont need a lot of pressure. held up well in the washer after use. It will totally pick up dirt, so best that you rinse it after washing each section of the vehicle. One of the best sponges i've ever used and another great product from chemical guys. Their products are my new go-to.

Right amount of firmness - absorbs water well and releases foam. Not sure about longevity - only used it twice - hence removing a star. Will update in the future.

Absolutely ineffective!
The foam inside is way too hard and the microfiber covering the foam is one of the lowest quality MF I've ever used. I'm not even letting this touch my wheels, forget the paint!
