This is a sturdy feeling unit. I am not worried about it being damaged from a fall or banging against something while hanging off my bag. My friend has a more expensive unit with wifi and Bluetooth, both units were reading the same in an area heavily populated by people (readings were within 10 ppm of each other). Because they were both reading so closely to each other in various locations around the convention I have no doubt of their accuracy. But you have to calibrate according to the instructions. I wish you could disable the alarm, but while using in a cinema I just set the alarm to sound at 4999ppm.

bought two in case back up a month ago for winter camping.the left one showing 136f and 3% humidity which is impossible. It should be a faulty sensor.return period is ended and no way to contact the seller.their quality control is too bad, wasted money.

The unit works fine. Reading is somewhat accurate. HOWEVER, the battery life is not good. I have been using it for 2+ weeks. The battery life has been great until recently when a fully charge only lasted 24 hours. I didn't turn up the LCD and just let the unit sat on my desk. I recharged it 2 days ago (to full, i left it on charge until the battery indicator showed full) and the low battery signal went on after less than 48 hrs.

A must have if you’re concerned about toxic fumes, the build quality is great, battery life is good, super user friendly.

Used it to diagnose an exhaust leek in a furnace, poor ventilation in a small bedroom, everyday driving in traffic. I plan on carrying it with me on trips. The dual CO and CO2 feature are rare in a product. The clip it comes with is junk, but I have replacement clips and for its function so far easily overlooked down side. Don't hang it from your shirt or anywhere near your nose as it will alarm.
