Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Sling Bag (16-Liter)

This is a pretty amazing bag! It folds up incredibly small as shown in the pictures and yet easily holds a change of clothes or whatever else you might use it for. I used it for carrying clothes to the shower when camping and it worked great. I’ve also used it as a gym bag.I throw it in my backpack every day so I’ve always got something to carry any extra items that won’t fit in my backpack should I need to.The extra you pay for Sea to Summit quality is well worth it.

Carried this little bag in a larger purse while on vacation. When I needed more space or another carry bag, I opened the small pouch & voilá a med-lg carry bag! It's waterproof but don't expect it to look amazing - in its own small carry pouch, it can only be wrinkly. It was extremely useful & easy to stuff back into its pouch. I used it countless times & lent it to family members traveling with us when they were short a carry bag. W a carabiner, it can be clipped pretty much to anything & doesn't have to take up internal space. It's now on my airline carry-on for future use.

It’s very thin ripstop, only 2 oz., and packs into a 2x3" sewn-in stuff sack with an attachment loop. It seems pretty strong for its weight and is water resistant. The zipper has 2 pulls and is recessed about 2”. The section under the zipper is 10.5”H x 13.5”W x 4”D. The shoulder strap is 2.75” wide, the same fabric as the bag – it's pretty long but you can shorten it with a knot. It’s hard to get it in the tiny stuff sack if you try to fold it to minimize wrinkles (how it comes in the package), as the fabric is extremely slippery. It’s easier to just jam into the pouch bit by bit, if you don’t mind it coming out more crumpled.

I bought this as a bag to use for nights walking around town while hiking El Camino. It was perfect. Packs up extremely small...a bit smaller than a racquetball. I could fit everything I needed in it--book, journal, sweater. Not the most stylish of bags, but it's so extremely functional I cannot complain. Others I met along the journey were quick to compliment and ask where I got the bag.

Awesome bag that fits just about everything you need. I'm a huge fan of Sea to Summit and had their ultra sil backpack for years and still in good working order.

Great bag, good size good construction. I've had the shopping bag from sea to summit for a couple of years and decided to get the sling bag also. They are quite tough and light, though sil nylon will wear out a bit over time. Overall, the strength/weight/size/price point make this a unique offering in this particular marketplace.

it does it allfolds/rolls up to fit in the pocket easilytakes a great load - use with Shoulder pad worn diagonally, 20-25# are easily comfortably hauled.I stuff my coat/stuff going on a plane - fold it up, easily put away.take 2 shopping makes everything easier - versatility that its biggest attribute

This product is like advertised. It is very high quality, well made, versatile. One negative is that I find it over-priced. Would recommend for traveling, camping and shopping where compactness and durability are extremely important.
