Where did he get that hat?
Worth buying only for the hat robbery sketch. But everything else is great too.

A genuine gem on Radio 4 that always delights.
I love John Finnemore. He came into my world when his name popped up as co-writer of David Mitchell's Soapbox. All of his work is very funny and always very clever with situations that, in a lesser writer's hands, would be predictable or dull. The language is lovely, much word-play and playing with the form of sketches. The cast are all excellent and are vital for the show to work. Series 8 is great fun. The "Since you ask me..." get better and better. There is a football sketch that turns in on itself where Margaret Caborn-Smith and Carrie Quinlan critique the sketch and John Finnemore's writing, and lack of football knowledge. These sections where the cast go out of character and make fun of John, have been a part of the show for a few series now, and they're always very good.I would recommend all of the Souvenir Programmes, John Finnemore's Double Acts and Cabin Pressure. They're all great fun.

I play this regularly- thoroughly enjoy!!
After hearing JOhn on the radio i wanted to have episdoes I could listen to at other times, I love his daft references, he is well supported by his cast of friends, their dynamic seems to come across! Particularly like the animal interview sketches, the end story in repeat format, stands up to repeated listening

Finnemore’s a winnemore
Always find the skits humorous, I do tend to listen to them on my commutes to and from work.
