BMW lead not included
After purchasing this charger, I was shocked that I still cannot charge my BMW via CAN. And need to purchase a separate connection lead.

Great for owners of lead acid and lithuim
I used an older version for years, but after my yuasa lead acid battery died on my Yamaha i bought a lithium battery. It may be overkill as id expect a lithium to hold a charge better over winter but optimates "just work". Also works on a full sized car 12v battery although takes a 12-24 hours ish if dippong into 11v territory.

Good Product but Confusing Description
Good product from Optimate but ordered the wrong version due to confusing and less than clear description. Needed the BMW Canbus Optimate charger for Lithium batteries and assumed that this charger would come with the required Canbus lead. This particular charger didn’t which is less than ideal.I could have bought the same charger from the same supplier with the Canbus lead for £5 extra, whereas the Canbus lead on its own is £25.Quite annoying TBH.
