Fantastic value for money so fast and well made top marks

I had problems with my run off drain at the front of my property which kept blocking. On one occasion it cost me £360 to have it unblocked for me only to find it blocked again a few months later. The drain is against the house and the underground pipe has an accute bend so it was difficult to “get at”. In desperation, I removed the block paving which covered the pipe and “bravely” smashed open the clay pipe with a hammer. Tree roots! I removed these quite easily which resulted in a good free flowing drain. I tidied the broken pipe, did some very simple brickwork as a square around the broken pipe and cemented inside the structure to create an inspection area. To finish I placed the Clark Drain Manhole cover after fitting the surround which comes with it. I now have a drain which I can inspect and clean easily and can, if required use rods now as the manhole is away from the house wall. Later the same happened with drain at the rear of the house. So I now have two! Peace of mind, no more problems with the drainage. Professionals charging £360 for half a job! These drain covers are very strong and the weight baring capabilities are measured in tons. Highly recommended..

Solid product but if you are only trying to replace the lid of existing chamber it is to large being 320mm diameter but it is well made.

Excellent product at a good price. Far superior to a plastic drain cover particularly if you need to drive your car over it regularly.
