Get A Life: His & Hers Survival Guide to IVF Paperback – October 24, 2017

Hilarious book that also educates during each step of the IVF process. The humor is especially geared for those who enjoy witty analogies and a well-placed cuss word! We bought this book because we wanted a relatively new book with real people talking about IVF in an informed way and how it went for them at each step. Yes, you can find all the technical information for IVF online, but what this book adds is a sense of humor and a real sense of the two people in this couple and their advice for you. We're a US-based couple but still love the book and the British slang :)

I absolutely recommend this book for anyone thinking of starting IVF or getting ready to go through a cycle, whether it’s your first or 5th time. This book has been such a necessity in our collection. As it speaks to both sides of this journey, it has helped my husband and I communicate easier about our feelings and expectations while we go through one of the most emotionally fueled experiences of our journey together.

Helpful to understand the male and female sides of IVF and what the other side is feeling/going through. Also helped break down definitions of a lot of the confusing parts of IVF.

Is well written, but I expected more guideline about how to get through the IVF process but is more what happened to this couple. Also, it does not apply to people who doesn’t live in UK… personally I was looking for a book with other kind of info.

Funny and insightful! Don't underestimate their assertion that IVF is a lesson in patience. I am going through it now and still wasn't prepared from all of the waiting. Good luck!
