Brilliant composter
I must admit I was a little dubious having only used traditional stand on the ground composers previously. I was even more so when the tumbler arrived flat pack ! Not to worry, it was very straight forward to assemble using the enclosed instructions and the result is a very sturdy composter. So far the composting process seems very quick indeed, presumably because on the ability to mix and aerate so well. I was going to look at buying another one because I have a reasonable sized garden and I compost as much as possible but the speed at which this rots down I may not need another. So far its fantastic and does a great job.

Quicker than I thought to put together
Went together fairly quickly but had difficulty with several of the smaller screws as not self-tapping and the hole was too small, but these were on the legs and non-essential

Almost perfect if not for a handfull of flaws.
Composts well and attracts loads of heat when sun is out which helps with the whole process.Expected it to be a good bit larger than it actually is, has really small doors so difficult to add a spade/shovel of material, guess they are maybe expecting you to be loading it by hand or small bag.The small doors then come into play when trying to unload the finished compost, doesn't seem to be an easy method of placing something underneath the bins to quickly empty them as there is only about a foot of space. I was thinking of making a frame to raise it up to a height where I can slide a small narrow underneath.Frame does sag a bit once you have each bin full but so far still going strong.

Used this for 14 months....
I love the compost that this creates. In warm weather it works very quickly and I turn it several times a day: when hanging out cloths bringing in cloths, watering plants etc. In wet, winter weather it gets turned less. I have put washing up bowls under to collect the juices which I use as an fertilizer additive to watering cans. The clips that hold the panels together are not really fit for purpose had I have had to make alternative arrangements. The box arrived with bits missing and the manufacturer was very hard to get hold of and when I did were very quick to point out that my contract was with the seller and not them. The seller sorted things out immediately. It is my intention to by another couple of these composters.

Still going strong
Purchased this 12 months ago as a Christmas gift. Easily put together, only slight drawback is the sliding doors have a tendency to catch so you can't open them all the way without a little bit of a fiddle. Trick is probably not to over-fill the drums, as I can see that if they were completely full of compost materials it might put a bit too much strain on the central rod.

Is it strong enough??
On assembly the product seemed fairly robust, however, in use I am finding that the weight of one half full barrel means the product is bowing in the middle. After just 3 weeks of use I’m concerned this will offer longevity. In addition, as the compost does not come into the ground, the worms and organisms which usually provide the heat to breakdown the compost are not present, so I am beginning to doubt the compost will be produced as quickly as the product details suggested.
