It does cover the affected area however my hair felt gross once applied it was impossible to brush my hair it was so sticky also covers your hands if you touch it even when dry had to wash my hair 3 times to get it all out won't use again

Wouldn't be without this product, thickens hair without making a mess. Hides my sparse patch at the front of my hair really well without looking obvious. Don't underestimate the boost to your confidence if you have thinning hair!

Ok but not great I have tried a few of these products and this particular one is the worst. It leaves hair feeling like wire and does NOT shine at all. Does a good colour cover of grey hair and does cover thinness but there are better versions out there
