I got this AC unit because my finished attic / man cave is harder to cool than the rest of the house. The central air goes to the room, but it is always 5 to 10 degrees F hotter than the rest of the house, which makes it very uncomfortable.With this AC unit, it cools it to a perfect temperature in just a few minutes (less than 10), and makes life much more enjoyable in the room. It also has a remote control, which makes it easy to change temp or turn the unit on and off as needed.It comes with the full window kit to install. There are adhesive foam strips to line the window so you can properly seal the area, which is nice. I appreciated the fact that I didn't need to go buy anything additional to install this unit.There is also a hose and port for the condensed humidity to drain out from. I simply have a small bucket to catch the water, and so far I have not even needed to empty it.Overall, this unit has been a great purchase for me. I couldn't be happier with the result, and I am looking forward to enjoying my man cave more this summer than I ever have before.If you are in the market for a strong AC unit, this is a great option. Purchased a week ago. Works well. But has blown out the outlet several times. Had to move the plug around the house. But ice cold air. In Southwest Florida

I bought this model 6 months ago but needed a 2d one. They’ve greatly improved the window panel kit. Great multi function, it does the trick or I wouldn’t have gotten a 2d unit.

Excellent portable air conditioner. Light weight, very efficient and easy to install. I used it for my bedroom and it cooled down the room within minutes!

So far it seems great. The heat will out it to the test.
