Is this the greatest thing on the face of the earth? Probably not, it's a hot dog griller. But I used to work in a movie theatre and we had a hot dog roller machine that made awesome hot dogs. So I thought I'd try this one. It's small, a little bigger than a toaster but it will roll 8 dogs at a time. The rollers are slow so you can't tell they're even rolling, but in 12-15 min you have tasty hot dogs just like the ones at the movie theatre. The bun warmer will heat 8 buns as well. Truthfully, the bun warmer will dry out your buns just like the big one do. There are ways around that but they may not be mfg recommended. Still the buns aren't excessively dry and they are fine. The cabinet for the machine is a bright yellow or red plastic that is easy to clean. I suggest using a damp NOT WET cloth to clean the rollers when they are warm: they wipe easily clean. I can truthfully say, this is the funnest purchase I have made off Amazon! I love it!!!!(consequently, I'm eating more hot dogs so I have to hit the gym more now!!!)

The nostalgia of the Oscar Meyer wiener in the form of a hot dog roller grill and toasty buns, is so cool! The hot dogs are evenly cooked and buns are warm and toasted. I used jumbo size dogs because only four fit on the rollers. It took about 10-15 mins to cook the hot dogs. The reviews made me really second-guess that this machine was not worth the money. One person complained that you can’t clean it because the rollers don’t detach. It was not hard to clean this machine. I used a rung out hot towel with white vinegar. Do not clean this with it plugged in! Moving on I would recommend this to everyone! Birthdays, camping, work, and at the park! This was the center piece that made everyone smile! Note: the last picture is after I cleaned it.

I love this! We love using this for an easy dinner night. We get the long hot dogs from Costco, so it only holds 4 of those at a time. But good quality and nice classic hot dogs!

Nice little toy. Cooks dogs and brats REALLY nicely, and the bun warmer works nice too. Easy to use. Somewhat difficult to clean, but expected. 8 dogs? I think not. UNLESS you get the really small Oscar Mayer dogs (or similar), and even then they don’t fit great. We have another cooker, Elite Gourmet cooker (same basic thing) that was only meant for 4 dogs/buns and we use them at the same time to cook 8 dogs/buns. Very cool look though, love the Oscar Mayer & yellow look.

Purchased as a gift, they loved it! Worked as intended and reminds them of roller dogs, which is what they wanted! Perfect item!

AMAZON TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION!!! Using AI to show 8 hot dogs when only can fit 4 and only if placed staggered on the roller. Photos show 8 hot dogs & description states 8 hot dogs fit. This is deceptive & false advertising!!! Doesn’t roll if hot dogs placed side by side as shown in photos. If you do place side by side or if the hot dogs are thick it rolls out of the lid. Be careful as you might find your dogs on the floor or countertop if you aren’t babysitting it. You need to stagger the hot dogs!!! AGAIN, deceptive advertising. AMAZON TAKE ACTION to correct photos!!! If you cook sausages you have to make sure to straighten them and you might have to put slits in them to keep them rolling. Again, babysit your food. Go back every 5 minutes to look to see how they are cooking. Put the wrapped buns in foil only after the dogs are about to finish so that they don’t get hard. Put them on the rack and NOT on the tray. The tray goes right below the hot dogs to catch the droppings. This is light weight so you can store it back in the box and take it out of the box when you want to use it. Also, it’s small enough and cute enough to leave on the countertop if you use it often or want a conversation piece. I found that putting it at maximum timer setting cooks the dogs evenly. If you put it on the Lower timer setting it cooks unevenly and you may get uneven burn marks. It is a chore to clean so it makes you not want to use this. You do have to make the rollers turn by turning the rollers on to clean all sides of the rollers. So knocked off 2 stars - one for deceptive photos and for deceptive descriptions and one for being hard to clean.

Don’t forget to turn off timer when done. I melted my lid. Easy to clean. Does not fit 6 dogs, I usually cook 3 or 4. Wrap buns in foil and put in warmer. They come out soft and warm. They get harder without foil. I love my hot dog maker! Have to order another. Comes apart making cleaning easy.

Does not fit 8 regular sized hotdogs. You will only get 4 full hotdogs on at a time. I can't comment on durability or performance, as I decided to return it as soon as I realized it wouldn't fit the amount of hotdogs that it advertises.
