The chanter came I good condition and beautifully crafted.
The grain of the red cedar is a good cut and no defects in the wood. The nickel neck and base plate and nicely chiseled however the quality of the carving is blocked and the bottom base had corrosion once opened. The holes are equally spaced and I do plan on make modifications to previous models I've used.Overall its a good looking chanter that suited my usual expectation for a wooden chanter.

Solid Chanter
My son takes bagpipe lessons from a member of a very well known pipe and drum core. This chanter is working out perfectly, performs as expected, and works as well as ones for twice as much.

This flute would simple not create a usable tone.
I found it very difficult to get any standard tone from this Flute. My fault? Possible.
