Very effective, very simple to use. Sometimes the door shuts without occupant, one occupant chewed the plastic and that one we had to throw out, but we have used these over and over, and over again with much success. Good value for the dollar.We use these along with black mouse traps and DIY mouse poison made from equal amounts of baking soda and corn meal and we were able to eliminate a rodent problem fairly quickly. I like these traps because I could see what kind of rodent we were getting.

I knew I had a family of mice. My cat brought one into my bed one night. Ugggh! I put a dab of peanut butter at the front to entice the mice, then a little bigger chunk in the back. Within 12 hours of laying the traps I caught my first. About 2 days later one of the traps caught 2 (Thank You), and another caught 1. Three mice at once. I'm not traveling to set mice free. I filled up a pail halfway with very hot water, and they drowned within a minute. Then into the toilet. I know I'm inhumane! The back is a little difficult to take off, so practice with it first, so that a mouse isn't jumping out of the trap in your struggle. Super easy, good price, minimal Ugggh factor. Catch the mice alive and do with them what you will. Very happy with this item.

This was great at first. I caught quite a few the first night. Even got 2 in one trap! I went about a mile away from my home and let them all free. Unfortunately, they quit working after a few times. They wouldn't close. The mouse would get in and eat the peanut butter and not set off the trap. So 2 of the traps only worked once (set off). I still recommend these. I'm planning to get more (it's getting cold here). They work.

Caught a mouse within 24 hours. The trap was easy to set up, bait is simple (just a dab of peanut butter), and release was painless.I saw comments on here that lifting the door to release the mouse was difficult, so I practiced with it before I set out the trap. It's actually really easy - just pull the door out before you pull up.Only thing that could be better is cleaning out the mouse poop afterward. I wish there was a way to take it apart so that I didn't have to blast it with a ton of water to loosen feces stuck on the cracks. Not a big deal, though. Took about 10 minutes to clean. Worth it to not have to kill the mouse! So glad he is now miles away finding a new home.

The media could not be loaded. This product works perfectly! I trapped two mice in less than 24 hours. I put dog food in them since l previously heard mice inside my dog’s food bag. I safely released the mice later. I would suggest practicing on how to open the trap door before use, since it can be a bit tricky to learn how to open them at first. After a bit of practice, it’s easy to open the door. I just wish the traps were a bit bigger so the mice don’t feel as claustrophobic. I hope more people start using these humane traps. I have successfully released three mice as of this morning, the traps are super easy to use, they only thing i will say kinda negative is you have to be very careful when cleaning them or the spring could come out and it is NOT easy to get back in, that being said, would absolutely buy again and have every intention of using the ones i bought until my issue is fully resolved. I marked Adhesion as one star but only because its a none adhesive trap so there is no adhesion

Difficult for me to set up. Weak wrists & hands. However works well, and I like being able to see in.

Fortunately or unfortunately..depends on how you view it, I have caught 6 mice with these traps. I like that you can see the mice in the trap and that they cannot escape. They are a good size for mice. They are easy to clean and handle. I have recommended them to a friend and she seems happy with them as well.Setting the mice free is great but driving 3 miles so they do not return can be a bit annoying. The only issue I have is with the spring on the door of the trap. I have had to adjust two of them and one may not be repairable. Over all, I am happy with their function. The quality is decent.
