We wanted to move some "stuff" from FL to TN and commercial movers were very expensive. We decided to buy covered bins (4), fill them up and place them on this cargo rack. Brilliant. The cargo rack was easy to assembly, the bins fit perfectly, we bound them with ratchet straps and off we went. Absolutely no problem in transport. When we got to TN we unloaded and turned the cargo carrier up and it was out of the way. Can't say enough about this item.

Excellent product and very easy to install.

We purchased this cargo carrier for the front of our pick up camper. Works just the way we hoped it would and is heavy duty. We carry propane bottles, our generator, and it holds the weight. Well, we’re very happy with our choice.

This thing worked great for our trip to Florida. We put a mobility scooter and beach stuff in it and it work great. Love the fact it folds up for when not in use. Cons - on my vehicle it impeded the rear sensors so when backing up in the folded position it made my alarms go off but the cameras still worked. It is also heavy takes two people to get it on the vehicle but that heaviness is probably what makes it so sturdy. Overall very happy and a great purchase.

I purchased this to travel with my friends and family on vacation and it was exactly what we needed. It’s Sturdy and well built. It was easy to put together and easy to attach to the vehicle. I had it loaded with suitcases, coolers, and even a wheelchair and everything fit perfect. I put a tarp over everything in case it rained, strapped it all down, and we were on our way to the beach! When we got to our condo and took everything off, I folded it up for easy parking and it was not in the way at all during our trip. I definitely would recommend this product for anyone who travels!

Solid, Real Solid - And Heavy. But Solid first…big heavy box arrived, directions were super straightforward, and didn’t take much time by myself. Construction is heavy duty, more so than I am used to seeing on various vehicles. This is not the hitch unit you see on passenger car that gives you a moment of pause. The hardware included is solid and good quality and all present. Walked over, set in place, added the included pin and rattle stopper (also solid kit). I like that it folds up/hinges fairly close in and therefore when up is close to the rear of my van (ProMaster 2500) but scary close. When up or down, once the pin is in - it feels locked. Without the rattle stopper it moved a slight bit, but would be fine with using, and with the clamp it is just solid. I loaded it up with about 300lbs and drove across the US 2 days later. Sits very very close to level after being loaded down. Note, it’s heavy, it’s not something I want to carry around without a plan or far by myself. But I can, including mounting and unmounting. I Put DOT reflective tape on it, need to figure out lights and license plate obstruction to be fully proper, but in 3000 miles (up, down, loaded) not a word or glance has been given. Needed for a specific thing to do, but now am using for all kinds of tasks since.

kinda cheap, was not able to center the weight, maybe 150 lbs and the rack bent way down to one side, almost to the ground. bolts were tight, should have been welded, even when I stand on the grate, it bends with my body weight. 180 lbs

Not that stable so can't put much load. Price is good for temporary usage, not a long term solution.
