It is as functional as it appears. Sturdy and absolutely useful. You can clip it on or ring fasten it to your clothing. It protects the ID clip from stresses of every day use. I highly recommend this product.

These are pretty decent badge reels nice material, portable, visibly pleasing to the eye, but I noticed the closure of the silver ring almost cause me to lose my keys twice. Durability is a bit iffy due to the badge holder snapping if handled too hard, and the badge line snapping after a few months. But it’s still affordable pricing and they lasted me a whole school year!

I worked at a school, and frequently had to use my badge to enter doors. I bought these because they looked durable, but after a couple of months' worth of use, the line snapped. They would work better if you don't need them for daily use. It was too heavy to put on a shirt, but it worked great on a belt loop or pocket. The claw clasp is also a bit loose, so I would be careful when choosing what to put on it. Other than that, it was easy to use, and it worked as intended.

Works great

I was given a clip on badge reel when I started a job that needed security cards, but the metal springsteel clip (similar to this one) was kinda cruddy, and it didn't have a carabiner clip. So I replaced it with this. Holds my security card great, and the carabiner clip on the top is perfect for clipping to my pants belt loop. I wish the drawstring was a little longer, but it's still good enough for pulling the card from my belt loop to the card reader. It dfeels higher quality than the one my work gave me.

I really like this retractable ID card clip! Lightweight and feels like good quality. I've been wearing my work pass on a lanyard for over a year and was getting kind of irritated with it as it would get in the way and sometimes get snagged off, so bought these to clip on my waist and it's so much better! It has a latch clip and a slip on clip for securing to cloths and it has a larger Ch clip and a clear strap with snap button for having more than one ID attached. The length of the cord is great, not too long and reels back nice and smooth. Great purchase, no issues with it and have been using it daily for the past two weeks.

I use it to clip onto my bag and have not encountered issues so far. It's made it much more convenient to access any items that can be attached
