Unbelievable quality for the money
Listening to this on Bluetooth from a iPhone 14. The sound quality is outstanding. Some important notes for those considering this amp: the left and right channels do not get low frequencies. It is dependent on a subwoofer. So don’t think you’re going to use this without a sub, it’ll sound like crap. Also, the 1/8 plug must be inserted after the amp is turned on. The amp defaults to Bluetooth. Then it defaults to whatever was last used. The four smaller knobs are lazily put on, paying no attention to where the mark aligns with the minimum and maximum lines on the unit. If you care, just pull them off after turning them to minimum and then align the markings best you can and slide them back on.There is no remote. The speaker wires crush under a plate with a Phillipshead screw. I’d like to have seen them use the style that has a hole for the speaker wire instead, but for the price point I’m not complaining. This amps will surprise you. It’s very good and pushes a sub hard. I’m stunned at how good this is. I found a power supply on Amazon that was 24v with 10 amps. This must be more than enough because I can’t even go near max before the room is filled with loud, clear music. If this meets your criteria, don’t hesitate to order it.

Two failed within two months
The first of these amplifiers lasted less than a month. It was replaced under warranty. The second one lasted just over one month. Both made a buzzing sound over the speakers before they had their amplifier chips let out the smoke under low volume scenarios. I am using a 36V 10A regulated power supply (verified supply voltage). Left, right, and subwoofer are 4 ohms (verified), which should be well within this amplifiers capability.

Pretty good value for money
Been hunting for a small desktop amp to use is mixing reference with some larger passive speakers so i can reference a fully fledged stereo image without leaving my production space (This amp is NOT it). 1st amp died on day 1, and amazon replaced it no questions asked. But i've since determined i had a voltage regulator giving voltage spikes far beyond what the amp can take. It's over current and over voltage protection obviously is ineffective, SO USE QUALITY PSU and DC BOOSTERS, do not trust the over current and over voltage protection of the amp.I paired the amp with vintage AR series 660 monitor enclosures outfitted with dayton drivers and GRS ribbon tweeter. Xovers currently at roughly 700hz and about 5000hz.Power from the amp, assuming the power supply is quality and provides constant, and quality energy, is pretty impressive. It can move a lot of air without distorting. However it's upper mid range feels very plasticy, and the amp has constant hiss coming from the tweeters. I do appreciate the use of orange drop polyester caps over ceramic, but i think polystyrene film would have cleaned up that tweeter hiss a lot better. When i turn it off and on there is a loud thump through the speakers because there's no filter to encourage a soft startup. Even when amp its off it arcs badly being hooked up to any power supply of any quality. I do not like that at all. This amp will be turned into a 2.1 bluetooth tool box amp for a friend of mine for christmas, and he's going to love it. The power, and sound quality (for a bluetooth speaker) will blow him away. Through a legitimately revealing, properly engineered set of giant studio monitors, it sounds pretty terrible and that hiss is very annoying. It makes human voices almost sound like partially AI voices, its very strange. Both amps did the same thing. If you want one of these 2.1 amps, and want it to sound fantastic on a normal stereo setup, get Dajunguo's tpa3255 chipset 2.1 amp. It has more power, and the sound quality is truly exceptional even when compared directly with a yamaha s801 that cost me about 16x more. Had i done my chip research when i should have, i would have bought the tpa3255 chip amp to begin with.I can't imagine this tda7498e amp serving any real purpose beyond a homemade bluetooth speaker. Dajunguo tpa3255 chipset 2.1 amp, however, is truly remarkable where sound quality as concerned. If you want legitimate sound quality, definitely spend the extra $20 and get their ZK-AS21 amplifier, that one's basically a box full of real-life magic as far as i can tell, and was the best $60 i've ever spent on audio equipment.

I laughed at how good this is
I replaced my old car speakers and decided I would use this amp to power my OEM speakers for a dumb side project. I basically used a cardboard box to mount my old 6.75" speakers and used this to power them and considering how stupid the entire build was it sounds amazing. I just had to laugh at it because it beats out speaker/stereo systems I paid a lot more money for. The cardboard box isn't sealed and has air leaks galore, but it fills the entire room with great sound. I will fix that with some duct tape and add some resonance chambers and wave guides to make this even more dumb...er. Wish me luck, I'm off to annoy my neighbors while I continue my stupidity. PS, this is a great little amp given the price. Highly recommended.

A very good product
I liked everything about this product especially since it had sound indicators for pairing and when it connected instead of a scratching or annoying voice that say, “Ze bluetoof has paired”. It works great using a 12 or 18 volt power source but when I wired my power source that consisted of 2 Milwaukee M18 battery 5.0 in series to get 36 volts, the sound boarded sparked and one of the components blew, still works a powers up, fan still works but now I have no sound when turning it on or when I try and play music.
