Nextion Enhanced 4.3 inch NX4827K043 Display

I use this with my DMR JumboSpot, and once I downloaded the proper Nextion files, it worked great, Finding the .HMI files to work with it, however, took several days. Use the Facebook group to find the proper one for this model.Warning: If you want to plug it into USB port, you're going to need a TTL to USB adapter plug, too.Please note that this is a 5V device, and the default jumper on most adapters is 3V, which won't make the display power up. If you see gibberish instead of a welcome screen, check your input voltage!

I liked that it is able to be used as a standalone HMI display if you purchase the enhanced version, so no need to control it with a microcontroller or other device.The language to program it is cumbersome but once you get used to it is workable yet is still tedious.What I disliked about it is the lack of examples. Being new to HMI's some examples would have helped the design process It was a lot of trial and error until it functioned the way I intended it to.I 3D printed an enclosure due to the lack of enclosure selections available for this display. I adhered some magnets to the inside of it so it will stick well to the steel frame it will be attached to.For this price compared to the traditional HMI for PLC's, you cannot beat the price point. They also updated their software so that small changes now takes seconds compared to uploadng the entire code which takes minutes depending on the code size. Overall happy with it and will likely use more in the future.My intended use for this is to control testing/programming a PIC controlled device for a few of the products my company manufactures. Makes for a seamless anb simplistic interface for whatever project you're going to use it on. Highly recommend

Excellent display for the price. It's very responsive, has a good viewing angle, bright, and easy to setup.I'm using this with a TTL to USB adapter connected to SimHub for my sim racing rig. Transmitting data over USB is a lot more convenient for me than a DC adapter and HDMI/DP. There's also 3D models available, so designing a custom enclosure is easy.

Great and very responsive touch screen for SIM Racing. I’m using their product to flash the boot so it’s comes up flawless each time. The boot cycle is less than 5 secs, also depends on how many screens and depth of workflow you are doing but I couldn’t see any lag. The only downside if there is one, if you don’t know how to program Nextion devices it takes a little learning but still isn’t hard by any means.

Works great, was hoping to find a capacitive version but at the price I got it for i was happy with the resistive touch version. It does need a bit of pressure to respond, which is normal, but other than that it works great...

What more is there to say, these nextion displays are extremely easy to program. There’s also plenty of YouTube tutorials with downloadable examples. Online documentation is okay, not great. I’m using this display as a digital dash for my car using canbus signals via an arduino. The screen is perfect for this, and it’s a lot more sensitive than you’d expect a resistive touch screen to be.

Using this on a uBitx ham radio for touch screen control. Love it! Works fine with the Raduino computer board with updated software available free online.

I tried to use his in my diy solar controller and had to return it. Simplest designs do not work. Nextion editor is rather buggy so can't tell if it's hardware or software but it doesn't work for me. File formats are closed so forced into their ecosystem. Support was not helpful. I'll be looking somewhere else.

This only supports a single touch. It does not support pressing two points or buttons at once. The viewing angle is small: if you look even a little bit from the sides then the LCD colors change and it is unreadable.
