Bessel Quick 'n' Easy Elinchrom Style 60x60cm Softbox with EL Fit Connection

Bad news -1. I needed a file to stop the bayonet hooks catching when attaching to Elinchrom heads.2. The hooks attaching the inner light modifier are little clips that are fiddly to do up and undo. I replaced these with tiny keyring type carabiners which make the job so much easier. A £2 modification that was worth every penny!3. The mechanism can pinch your fingers, OK, a bit trivial until youve done it a few times, then you stop.4. Aligning the ring to the softbox is a bit of a faff as the bolts are put in stupid places. I dont adjust these often so a once off annoyance.Good news -1. Deep recess makes them a bit more controllable than standard Elinchrom boxes, yeah you read that, better than the standard elinchrom modifiers, they spill less.2. The mechanism, easy to use, need a bit of welly but secure.3. In use they are good.I like them, not as well made as elinchrom but decent and in someways better modifiers.

I saw bessel items at the photography show and was impressed by the quality of the products they use. Im a pro photographer and often believe in buying the dedicated brand accessories for my kit. However this is a great item and so far so good. For the money it is great quality! Thabks guys!!
