Fireman Sam 12v Battery Powered Ride On

Great fun for my 3 and 3+ year old grandsons. It uses 2 battery packs - one (with 3 x C cells) for the lights & sounds, and the other (rechargeable) for the main drive. On first use, probably a good idea to disconnect the main drive battery, let them sit in it and give them a rudimentary driving lesson, as it takes off like a rocket once they work out how to press the accelerator pedal! There is no brake as such but it stops immediately once the foot is taken off the pedal. The blurb says the maximum speed is 47 km/h, but I think it meant to say 4.7 km/h thank goodness. A switch on the dashboard sets it into forward/neutral/reverse mode. My grandsons are a bit young yet to understand the concept of a 3-point turn but this ride-on is well equipped to make such a manoeuvre..

Bought his for My Little boy (age 3) at Xmas & he loves it!! Great price too as I only paid £165 whereas other local stores were selling it at £240+ delivery. He has had lots of fun with this. Instructions are easy to read & it didn't take too long to assemble.Delivery was quick.

I brought this item for my nephew for his birthday who is autistic. When it was opened there was stickers covering marks where someone had melted the plastic and there were screws missing underneath. I decided not to send it back as my nephew liked it and did not want to upset him but for the money I paid was disappointed as I was expecting it as brand new.

Got it pretty quick but box stank of cats oea so had to discard it right away and get it out the house makeing it pretty hard to hid from my grand son when he stays but fire engine was great regards stephwn mclaggan

This Fire engine I would recommend to anyone with a littleboy like mine mad on Fireman Sam I cant fault this fire engine at all just leaves a mark on the floor/carpet? with the weather we are having he has only played outside once.....But a great item.

Well my boy is still in kindergarten and does not know what is waiting for him at home. I have assembled the car ad it was quite easy, I just had to have some help butting the steering wheel in place.

The product is superb, although I had a small technical hitch of which I am assured has never happened before, the Big Red Wharehouse Team were absolutely on the ball and got it sorted for me within a week. Excellent after sales service.
