It does the thing. Hasn't caught on fire yet hopefully it won't. After wiring to a 48v system checked to see if it supplied 12v power, which it did so I continued wiring up my speaker great product for the money. Sizing it's pretty compact so put it wherever you want i guess it's your project. Functionality: it worksPower supply: yup has that tooEase of use: if you have no idea what wires colors mean take it to someone who does.

Works perfectly! One thing to make absolute sure if, is that your input voltage is no less that the specifications! If it's even one volt below, it will not work! But if you are within the range, this baby works great!

It was nice but stopped working after almost 30 days later

I needed a way to power my 12-volt accessories (radio, lights, etc.) on my 36-volt golf cart. This KInuoxj converter does the job perfectly! It consistently puts out 20 amps at 12.5 volts, which is plenty of power for my needs.Installation was straightforward, and the unit itself is very well-made. I especially like that it's water-resistant, so I don't have to worry about it getting wet..I've been using it for 20 miles now, and I haven't had any problems. Exactly what it says it is. Works great & easy to install.

I made the mistake of grounding my 12v fuse box to the chassis off the voltage regulator. What that does is, it grounds the 48v system to the chassis too. It says that in small print, don't do that but it's hard to read. And then if you accidentally touch any live 48v wire from the factory harness. Even gets near anything metal it arcs and melts the wire. Make sure to isolate your 12v system and ground it back to the voltage regulator. Also make sure it you wire it up to the full voltage/all the batteries so it drains all of them evenly. But the regulator works fine quality construction.
