Pretty colors. They write well and it’s difficult to find colors like this for my calligraphy. As you can see in the photo, I’ve written out the colors but note that the paper I used is not high quality and so the ink usually comes out better. ALSO, the black ink (where it says “Colors of ‘Kelly Creates’ Metallic Pens”) is NOT a “Kelly Creates” pen - it’s another calligraphy pen I have which bled more than it ever does due to the low quality of the paper.

Awesome pens. Got them as a gift for my sister & she sent me a post card with her doodles in them. They look really good & are super opaque & metallic.

The tip is great for brush lettering and the colors are deep and gorgeous with a nice sheen. Love these pens!

The media could not be loaded.  These are some of my favorite pens. They are bright and juicy, but not too juicy. They are long lasting and I love the vibrancy. They work best on a lightweight black paper. A heavier card stock will just soak up the color so definitely use a 65 pound paper or less if you are using black, to get the vibrancy. Awesome awesome pens.

These are absolutely the juiciest pens I've written with, to date. It really feels like you're painting with them, even though the brush tips are NOT bristles. Yes, the ink pools somewhat unevenly on a couple of pens in the set. Yes, each one is different... feels differently, behaves differently. Yes, they take quite a while to dry. If you are a lefty, like me, just flat out be prepared for some of this ink to be adorning your left hand, unless you take extra precautions, such as placing a sheet of paper between your hand and the lettering you've basically just written (which is what I've chosen to do; either that, or using my left pinky finger to balance my hand over top of my writing). Sounds like a pain?? Yeah, it could be. IF these pens weren't so darn SATISFYING to use!!! They're not for everyone. The tips are fat, and beginners probably will struggle to get a fine line. A couple of the colors don't really even look metallic at all, once they dry (the Ruby, in particular, looks more like chalk, when it dries on black paper). All of these things could be a bummer. They might even keep you from purchasing them. But I REALLY like using them. It's so relaxing to watch that ink flow out in beautiful, stunning lettering. I've had no issues with them seeming like they're practically dry, as some reviews have stated. I'm not writing anything that NEEDS to look that great. And if that describes your hand lettering as well, they're worth the $12 and change (at the time of this review), just to feel that peace and calm as the ink flows from pen to paper. They're super cool, and I adore all of the Kelly Creates line. So much purpose and thought has been put into every single item I've used thusfar. Go ahead and order. You'll have fun, I can almost guarantee it!

Great metallic effect, colors and ink flow when brand new but lost their natural ombre effect after a few uses and then dried up completely soon thereafter. Hoping they improve upon the longevity and possibly make a dual tip as I really liked these when new.

I love using anything metallic, jewel, or glitter. And I love these. I lost the first set I had, and I was glad to be able to replace it at such a reasonable price.

Love the colours but the brushes are too soft for me
