Struggling to keep alocasias alive? THIS is the soil you need to try. I know it's expensive for such a small bag, but alocasia are boujee anyways. 😂 I have been using this in self watering terracotta pots and all my alocasias are thriving. Great drainage and it doesn't stink like regular soil.

If you have an issue with over water or if your house is like mine with very small windows so things don’t dry out as fast this is the soil for you! Great chunky soil mix! I only got one bag just to see if I would like it and honestly it is one of my favorite pre mixed house plant soils! The plants I repotted into this mix seem to love it as well. They didn’t freak out over the move into a bigger pot and are thriving! I could only find one gallon bags and wish they made some bigger ones so I wouldn’t have to buy so many bags. Will definitely buy more of this for my next repot!

Really really good mix, I've bought it multiple times and it's never done me wrong. Amazing, light drainage perfect for tropical plants, pretty packaging design (though many don't care much about the aesthetics), no issue with bugs, seems to be a fair price - amazing for the quality. My only complaint is that I wish they offered larger sizes! But it is for houseplants after all.

Your plants will thrive in this soil. It truly is the best I’ve ever tried. It is more expensive, but I figure if I invest in better quality soil for my plants, the longer I will be able to have them. I was also concerned that I would have to water my plants much more frequently due to it being such an airy soil, somehow I do not have to. The water retains in the soil enough where I am having the same amount of time between watering, if not longer. This is top quality soil. I have ordered multiple times off of their site as well. Have never seen any bugs/gnats and it never has a bad smell to it. 10/10 reccomend just wish it was a bit more affordable,

I love the soil but I mix it with another good quality soil. I never use it alone it's too expensive and I don't think it's necessary but it is a staple for me and my plants

I only knock one star off because it can be kind of hydrophobic when dry. I wet each layer to help mitigate that problem. If you are an under-waterer, you might hate this soil. But if you are a helicopter plant parent like me this soil is awesome! I use it in self watering type pots and it works great! I love how fast it dries out. I love the leca balls too. Just good quality stuff if you are like me.
