Vibram Fivefingers Bikila Evo, Men's Running Shoes

The toe boards are too short. Hence, my toes hangs off the edge and this causes severe blistering. Not only on one toe but in several toes. The sizing is correct but the toe boards do not extend all the way to the end like the previous model........Someone in manufacturing must have decided to cut corners.I have been a big fan of VFF for many years. I own several different pairs and I run in them. With my recent purchase of this shoe along with the Vibram V Trail Runner model, both models of shoe have this problem. This is my first time experiencing this problem. It is quite serious because this defect pretty much renders the shoe to be useless. Vibram needs to address this issue immediately.

These are my first five fingers; although I used Vivobarefoot earlier and am happy with it (still in use after almost 7 years), I fell in love with it the first time I saw the pink one in my wife's shoe rack! Great product, great philosophy behind making of these shoes, really good quality, no complain so far....Update after moderate use for two and half month (~100 miles usage): Although I rotate my running shoes quite often to avoid injury (I have few pairs - all different manufacturer and different feel), this VFF was used mostly on treadmill and maximum distance in one session is generally one hour/one hour 10 min or so (10 to 12 kilometer). I am still in the transition phase and am not running fully on barefoot shoes. Noticed something really unusual about the shoe, there are stitches run through the finger pockets below the toe and when someone's feet is sweaty and become soft, those stitches really hurt below the toes! I have pain below both my big toes due to these stitches, wish the manufacture could do something about it. Otherwise these are perfect pair to start barefoot running.

I wasn't sure what I would think about these shoes and felt like I was taking a risk. The more I use them the more I love them. They have definitely changed my stride in a good way. I feel more motivated to run because I enjoy the shoes that much. Another major side benefit is that they are super easy to pack for travel. I'm living out of a suitcase most of the time and these shoes fit super well into a suitcase. I will definitely be buying these shoes again when they wear out.

This shoe is great in so many ways. I still remember when I switch over from regular running shoes to these minimalist shoes. No more shin splints. Faster times. Less weight. Feels great. I don't wear any socks when I wear these shoes. I love the way these shoes feel on my feet. It fits like a glove. Due to the minimal nature of these shoes my feet have never been stronger.The orange color is probably my favorite. The only thing better would probably be adding reflector on the shoes for night time running.My last pair last me 10+ years with running on them 3x weekly (most of the time). I hope these last just as long.
