Like standard forstner bits,Woodtek®Titanium coated forstner bits produce flat bottomed holes, angled holes, arcs cut into the edges of boards or through holes in all materials commonly used in woodworking: The titanium coating on these bits allow them to run cooler and stay sharp longer than standard steel bits. Bits are about 3-1/2" overall length with 3/8" shanks. Bits over 2 diameter are not recommended for use in hand held drills. Imported.
