Great Barefoot Inspired Hiking Boots
I am a big fan of these barefoot style shoes with a large toe box and a very flexible sole so that you can feel everything you walk on. I usually wear whitin barefoot shoes for normal activities but I wanted something waterproof as i was going on a week long hiking vacation in Wyoming and Utah.I have fairly narrow feet with high arches and these fit my like a glove. I think if i had wider feet i would have a problem fitting into them. The materials seem to be pretty decent quality, not quite as good as my Redwing workboots but they should be good for the price. I found the soles to be very comfortable to me, but not quite as flexible as my Whitins, but they are more durable without a doubt. If you buy these and think they will feel like wearing nothing, you will be disappointed. If you buy these and consider them to be a zero drop hiking boot with good insulation and water proofing, I believe you will find them as pleasant as I did.

Where to begin...
These are not my first pair of shoes from Vivo barefoot and they certainly won't be the last. I work 13-hour shifts at a ranch in the Utah desert, and these are my everyday shoe. After a full day on my feet, through mud, down canyons, in snow, heat, and anything else the high desert has to offer, my feet and back feel great! I knew I was going to love these shoes, but little did I know they'd be the best pair of shoes I've owned to date. They look great and they are functionally incredible. I can feel the ground im walking on while feeling secure and warm. The tread is fantastic and of course, the barefoot shape keeps my body in healthy alignment. Beware, once you try this, or any of the other styles vivo carries, you won't go back

Comfortable
True fit but removed inserts for roomier feel wearing medium weight socks. No break-in, walked directly to the trails. Also use around the barn and property. Worn all day in the 90s but feet stayed comfortable w/o excessive sweating and weren’t tired at the end of the day. Lacing is secure with scalloped back for good ankle flexion. Rode with MTB on trail to increase range, nothing technical. Boots had no problem staying in contact with flat, open pedals. Shed water well with good sole pattern. Recommend for those desiring a barefoot feel with comfortable protection and roomy toe box. Can’t go wrong.

Very comfortable
First time buying anything remotely close to a "barefoot" shoe. First thing I have to say I wasn't expecting them to be comfortable out the gate but it turns out they are. Not much of a break in period.I generally like a lighter boot and these fit the bill. However I wouldn't recommend them for any sort of industrial work. Not much padding against injury. After about a week of wearing them, it honestly feels weird to wear a normal shoe; they feel too cramped. These shoes are very wide and I appreciate the extra toe space.I didn't see any defects to speak of and were delivered quickly.

Excellent boot, Excellent Seller
This is my 4th pair of Vivo's and they are hands down the best barefoot shoe I have tried. These boots fit well and give that extra touch of support around the ankles which is useful hiking. Sellers shipping was extremely quick, better than my experiences ordering directly from Vivo. Would highly recommend to anyone.Update: after about a month wearing as a mail carrier it looks like the concrete hasn't been the kindest to the treads with flat spots forming at the ball of the feet and heel in both feet already and resolving through Revivo is not available in the US. Still a great boot but be cautious wearing on pavement for extended amounts of time.

Good boot
The shoe itself is surprisingly high quality and I’m impressed with it. Although for me they’re too narrow, I have extremely wide feet. If you have normal feet I’d recommend.Edit:After about 6 months of wearing it they’re falling apart. I really liked them but my wide feet and daily use was too much for them.

Best boots ever bought!
The boots are so comfortable, it looks like I have found my brand going forward. Before these boots, I started wearing Lone Peak shoes. Lone Peak like these boots has a wide-toe box. They were so good, I wanted a pair of boots that would provide a comparable feel and comfort. These boots are lightweight, I run in them when outside is too cold for my Lone Peak. I give Durability a 4 because I need more time to provide a fair rating. Did I already mention how comfortable they are? Look, do not get me wrong, they are expensive, but I do not get a toe-suffocation and circulation problems in my feet when it is cold.

My favorite shoe
These are my first barefoot shoes and I love them a lot. I didn’t go through a practice phase, I just went from wearing terrible ultra-uncomfortable Vans to these and I’m never looking back.(do be mindful in learning to walk the way we should have been, rather than walking with a heel strike, to step properly).I do everything with these all day and I’m always comfortable.I’m not a super hiker but I’ve gone about 6 miles on a hidden trail somewhere in the sawtooth mountains in Idaho and they rock. I can be in a river playing with my kids and my feet and socks will come out dry. I wish barefoot shoes had been in my life a lot sooner. It’s been over seven months and I probably have to buy new ones because I’ve worn them excessively, through the winter, and to work. I’m definitely buying these again or whatever better new version they come out with.
