BIOTONE Muscle & Joint Therapeutic Massage Creme - Gallon (128oz Cream)

I've been an LMT for a decade and this continues to be the same incredible product, year after year.

We used to use Now Glucosamine, MSM & Arnica lotion for joint and back issues, then I discovered Biotone Muscle and Joint Formula while at a massage session after an injury while deployed to a disaster. A massage therapist offered to use Biotone Muscle and Joint - wow, what a difference it made! Not only did it work well for stiff achy joints, it also helped ease a bad sprain and helped reduce chronic back pain.It works so well now we keep it on hand at home, when my back (or my husband's back - he sustained compression fractures to vertabraes) flares up we reach for Muscle and Joint formula.Arnica is long known to be useful for bruises and sprains, boswelia was recommended by our vet after our german shepherd sustained a spinal cord injury. Cat's claw (devil's claw) has a reputation among sufferers of Lyme disease and it's painful and paralysing effects.

Was told by a random passer-by that the smell was appealing, but I don't like it as much as some other massage lotions. It's fine though. The glide is good. I've been using it on a client with a lot of inflammation, and it doesn't seem to be making a difference. In fact, her swelling has become worse over the past few weeks (not related to the lotion use, I'm sure). I used it on a bruise on my own wrist, and haven't noticed any significant improvement. I'm sure it helps a little, but don't think you're going to apply this and the condition will markedly improve.Also, big complaint, I ordered a pump, but the lid doesn't have a place to screw it in. I assumed that would be automatic, but I guess you have to order that separately?

The cram is good for massage with good gliding, but does not provide pain relieve. Especially not for joints that need deep penetration.

This product was so watered down it was like water. Terrible. I don't even give it a 1. I went back to Massage Warehouse. The difference is amazing and the cost was almost the same.
