Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Sponge-On Cream Makeup

I have used this since the late 1970s - although, when younger I may have very occasionally tried similar products and always gone back to E.A.flawless finish make up within a few days. I received a lot of compliments in my younger days and many people tried it and loved it. I’m now 76 and people often think I look more 60 something. Very few wrinkles except above my mouth - my own fault due to 45 yrs smoking which I stopped around 15yrs ago. I mention this as I believe this foundation looked after my skin during the day - It’s the only foundation I’ve really used all my adult life and is excellent at covering a multitude of sins, including not always taking off my makeup at bedtime!🤣Apart from the obvious reasons I use it, it is such a pleasure to apply and has so many other real attributes - it’s obviously moisturizing and protecting my skin beautifully and you forget your wearing it. In the summer I wld go one or two shades darker, without it being noticeable- due to the large number of choices at most colour type. Thank you Elizabeth Arden you have been a life saver on so many occasions.

Love this good light coverage

I wouldn't be without this, a natural looking coverage, and it does cover blemishes really well. A great compact too there's a mirror in the lid and a sponge below the make up layer.

This was my go to foundation when I was 17. First started using it then. I am now 60 this yr and have just started using it again, after trying many other products from liquids to powders. I forgot just how good this is. Natural looking, great coverage and you can build it up to suit. It gives my skin a lovely sheen too, without being greasy. Still seems to complement my skin after all of these yrs and does not set in my wrinkles. Great price too, it used to be a big purchase when I was a teenager but always lasted a long time.

For years I've been looking at this foundation and have always baulked at the price (I can be a bit of a cheap skate lol) and haven't bought it. I used the same No7 foundation for years until they took it off the market 20 years ago, showing my age there ahem so I have been searching for a long time for a good foundation and have bought a LOT over the years. They were never quite right, some too dark, some way too light, some too drying etc etc. It was complicated by the fact I'm a redhead with very pale but not the palest shade so the lightest foundation made me look like a ghost the darker shade was too dark, even in the summer. So finally I took the plunge and bought this about 2 months ago and I'm in love with it and I can't even articulate how much! I bought Vanilla Shell and its light but not ghost pale!It can be used in two ways, with a dry sponge and with a damp sponge. I've tried both and think I prefer it when I use a damp sponge, it covers all the imperfections without looking like I've foundation on. I can then go in and use a dabbing motion on the problem areas and push the product on to/into them. It is the first foundation I've EVER owned that actually minimises my pores without having to use my Benefit pore minimiser so that's a huge plus in my eyes. I have twin high colour spots below my eyes and used to have to put on a good bit of concealer before a foundation to cover it but this foundation does that on its own but leaves a bit of colour so it looks like a gentle blush. (I don't colour correct, they're not that bad and I don't want to pile a ton of product on my face).In 2 months of almost daily use I've barely scratched the surface of the foundation so I think it's going to last a long time.All in all if you are on fence about buying it, just go for it! It won't change your life, its a foundation after all 😉 but it was pretty darn close!

I have used Elizabeth Arden flawless finish for around 40 years! It is creamy in texture and comes with a sponge which you dampen before use, it covers all imperfections and application is smooth and even. It is by far one of the best foundations I have used. When they are on offer I will buy 2 or 3 at a time so I never run out.

Always use this go to product.Good quality.

I bought this product for the first time 25 years ago when I was living in England. I was going on a ski trip in Europe. I wanted something that would make my skin look good but also give a layer of protection from the sun and wind. I'm in my 50's now and this product has never failed me and I will never change. I always get compliments on how clear and glowing my face looks. I recommend going into a department store first, try a few shades, find the right one, then go from there. It's a great foundation, doesn't need powder over top, I hope to use it for the next 25 years!

Llevo más de 20 años usando esta marca. Su calidad, color y textura son excelentes, logrando un maquillaje muy natural. Comprarlos en invierno es ideal, ya que llegan en perfecto estado. En verano, en cambio, el calor suele derretirlos un poco.

It was slightly darker than expected. I think this may have been my fault for not looking close and seeing it was actually a variant of the one i usually choose. I did end up using the product this summer when I am typically darker in complexion. I love Elizabeth Arden and will continue to buy this product, so I hope they never get rid of it!
