GunnarOptiks Reading Glasses/Vertex 1.0x Power, Amber Tint - Patented Lens, Reduce Digital Eye Strain, Block 65% of Harmful Blue Light (VER-00101-1.0)

I loved these glasses. The lens tint is awesome and the frames are comfortable. Then they started to break. The arms are very weak where the hinge attaches. When the first arm broke off, I emailed Gunnar support but didn't get anywhere with them, so I used two-part epoxy and glued the arm, using a small piece of steel wire as reinforcement. Not long thereafter, the other side also broke at the same location. I emailed Gunnar support but didn't get anywhere again, so I repeated the repair. Now the plastic on the nose bridge broke. Photos attached.Summary: awesome glasses, but the plastic used in the frames is very low quality and doesn't last very long. Their material supply employees must simply choose the cheapest overseas supplier with minimal or no quality control. My recommendation is to look elsewhere.

I have 2 monitors at work and my eyes were extremely tired by the end of the day. I bought a pair of cheaper computer glasses and the clarity was lacking. After I bought a pair of the Gunnar glasses they helped a lot. But I found that since I wear readers I figured it would help to get a pair of Gunnar readers. It is like going from VHS to Blu-ray. I no longer have tired eyes at the end of the day. My boss put them on and made me get him a pair too!

Bad quality material, frame broke just after few week of use...

These glasses brought everything on my computer into focus, cut down the glare and allowed me to finish a long day with a lot less eye strain than before. Very light. Very durable. Worth the money.

There is a manufacturing issue with these as that both of the arms of the glasses have broken in exactly the same place. I glued them back together after the first one, but now I'm just pissed. And, it always seems like I am cleaning them - they never are very clear. I have been wearing glasses in general since the 3rd grade, so I am very versed in taking care of my glasses. These are not made as well as their price tag should provide.

I am getting up in age so I need reading glasses to play. These were perfect and after a year I still have them. The lenses have very minimal scratches. The yellow still looks the same as when I got the glasses unlike others I have tried that wear right off.

Arm broke off less than 7 months after purchase. Shouldn't do that for the price.

I disliked the plastic lens that smudges easily.
