Elemental cube
Just what I ordered and delivery outstanding....

Must have for your element block collection.
I really enjoy my element blocks, makes for a great science and density project. The Magnesium and Zinc cubes from Heavenly Metals are the only ones I've found that actually have the correct elemental information on them, many others have wrong numbers or wrong temperatures. Laser etching is clean and legible. I wish the corners had a slight rounding to them (that's easy enough to fix with some high grit emory cloth) but you know you're getting all 1" of the element. my block weighed in at 29 grams so It is exceptionally close to the weight it supposed to be (28.51 grams). Enjoy.

NOT a paperweight - for display / grinding / etc
Really cool product, i wasnโt expecting the etched engraving to actually be there but it is! This is NOT a paperweight, magnesium is not incredibly dense and id imagine this is mostly used for display purposes, but it can be grinded down for magnesium shavings to start a fire, etc. Very cool for any chemist to have

Gorgeous
Well formed, with sharp corners (good and bad). Extraordinarily light! Itโs the perfect companion for my one inch tungsten cube.

Exactly as expected.
This was exactly as expected. I use it for a demonstration of metal density on my desk at work.

Very Nice, Even With Tiny Marks On It
For some reason I cannot give separate reviews for the two cubes I purchased. Mg - There are relatively small machining marks on the cube, unfortunately one is on the front and goes thru some of the print. Corners are sharp and could be dangerous, but I knew that going in, cleaning that up would be a more expensive cube. Overall - I am quite pleased, got this with a tungsten cube for comparison. W - This cube appears to be perfect, no machining marks. Very pleased, would recommend. It is 'trippy' to hold the Mg cube for some time, roll it around in the hands. Then set it down and pick up W - whoa!

Perfect gift for chemistry lovers!
I really like this item. It actually contains the real element, and has information etched on the cube that is easy to read as if you are looking at a periodic table. I would buy this again.
