Expensive but VERY WELL MADE. Good for electricians
As an electrician I have a lot of tools. They are now all (most) in this bag - including my Megger tester and all other test kit bits and bobs which I store safely in the rear segment. No other bag that I can see will do that. Although heavy (esp with tools added) it is a purchase I'm glad I made. Wouldn't have paid any more for it mind

Sturdy & Built to Last
Lots of storage pockets, holds everything I need. Comfy straps, a hook available if you need to hang it, while on a ladder. I use it for my IT/Networking business. Would highly recommend for most trades.

Great quality but…
Great quality back but for me it’s too big and very heavy when tooled up. Sent back and received refund.

Consigliatissima!!

Wow. Nervous to drop $$$, but glad that I did!
A decade ago I paid $50 for a CLC tool backpack. It was great for $50. I had seen Klein bags over the years ask this kind of price and then drop later… and while over than my CLC, I didn’t need them and considered them overpriced. My CLC finally STARTED to give out, and before I have my expensive tools drop out and down a stairwell, I decided to buy a new one. Prices have gone up over the last decade. A comparable CLC bag, by CLC, now is about $200. Some of the Klein are around that ballpark or up for the capacity I need. So, I figured I would get this as I had heard a lot of people brag on them and yet never managed to see one in the wild. Took a chance. I honestly was not ready for how well made this thing is, and how intelligently designed it is. I had made my own paracord zipper strain-relief for the CLC, which helped it survive a decade… this has nylon webbing to an aluminum clasp that locks into the rubber-over molded aluminum carry handle. 😳. The pockets are heavy, hold themselves open and have hi-vis reflective rims to make putting tools away easier in low light. There are hidden vertical metal support rods under the padding in the backpack. My wife, who loves to roll her eyes and mock my tool purchases was even impressed and went on about this tool bag. And just when I was seriously happy and content with dropping $315 on an orange backpack… I registered for the warranty and found they had a buy-one get another spring sale going on and this was a tier 1 purchase (COASTAL TOOL IS THE ONLY QUALIFYING AMAZON SELLER at the time of this review!!!) so I got an additional $170 tool bag for free. When I got that smaller bag, I actually moved ALL of the tools from the backpack into it, and debated which was going to be my primary bag. There are other intelligent touches, like a clasp that holds the flap from the inside, so that if you unzip it, it doesn’t suddenly drop open too far—to either drop tools, fold into a puddle, or tip the bag with a sudden weight shift. There’s a hidden hanger hook that people have tested to hold 200lbs (the bag says it’s made for 50 though! Don’t do 200 lol.) I’ll force myself to nitpick: I’m using the small elastic pouches as marker holders. Sure, they may hold bits… but if you have other ways you carry those, then this design choice takes a lot of area, and a lot of pockets, and makes them moderately less-useful than they could otherwise be as more of the packets in the other compartment. But… that’s it. That’s my nitpick. This bag weighs 40lbs now… but so did my CLC, and this is more comfortable, much better made, water proof on its base and stands rigid and doesn’t just flap around everywhere. I’m already used to the weight for an inferior bag. At least this one feels worth that weight! Let me be completely clear: it was worth it and I was happy to have paid the price. The spring sale deal honestly made this an absolute bargain. If I consider this to have been $200 and the other bag $100 of my $300 spent… there is no $200 backpack anywhere near this quality or design level. And the other bag… there is no $100 tool bag close. I couldn’t believe I didn’t know and VETO informed me of the offer… like they tried to give me that bag lol. Even their promotional keychain/bottle opener is freakishly nice. I’m trying to justify buying another bag to get another one free… eyeballing the MCT… TLDR: this bag is worth the money. If the spring sale is still going, there is nothing else that competes at all. It averages the cost to the same as other bags and this is far superior in usefulness and quality. for that money.

Great tool bag
This bag is amazing. Hold all my tools and while heavy, it wears well.

My New Favorite Brand.
I was hesitant to spend the money on this tool bag but one disappointment after another I had no other options. I tried several CLC, welkinland, Klein, etc and NONE compare to the Veto tech. I was concerned about how much I could fit based off the images but after transferring tools from the CLC I was able to add more including a deadly impact and electric screwdriver and I still have spots open. I carry approx. 60 lbs of tools when I grab my "big" bag, others may have fit them but where this bag destroys the competition is the comfort. I actually liked the CLC bag and fit a good bit but it's would grind my lower back the entire time I wore it. This bag feels incredible on my back and has the adjustments to get a perfect fit. I wish I would have tried it sooner, and it comes with a 5 year warranty. I'm a happy dude.
