I wanted a 911 button on my person to feel more secure. This thing weighs almost nothing. It's small. You can clip it to your bra or wear it as a necklace, or any other number of things. You can take a shower with it. And it NEVER HAS ONCE EVER DISCONNECTED FROM MY PHONE. Never. You can test it whenever you like with the app to make sure. You can set it up so there is a code. So if you press the emergency, even if the bad guy immediately takes your phone, he'd have to know a code to stop the boys in blue from coming. You can set it up so they will automatically call you and call the police if you don't know the code even if you answer. They call back fast. This device costs $8/mo when you get the yearly plan. Honestly I love this, I feel safe now. This is definitely the cheapest device I can find that does what this does, and also the cheapest service fees, and IMO it is better than any others I've seen too just because of how lightweight and little it is. LOVE!!!

Even though I wasn't able to figure out how to activate the free month of service, the $15 fee monthly is well worth it and below the cost of most emergency response buttons. I bought this for my 70-year-old mom - she has been living alone for the last 10 months. Last night was the first time she has had to use the button for a true emergency. She fell in the bathroom at 2:20 am and even though she broke her elbow and humerus, she was able to press the button 3 times for emergency assistance. The service called right away and when she didn't answer her phone, they dispatched the local emergency services. The local EMS was at her door by 2:30 am! She was taken to the local hospital where she was cared for and sent home. Really appreciate the customer service of this company and I would highly recommend it!

This is my third 'call for assistance' device. The first cost several hundred dollars a year and could take several minutes to respond. The second had intermittent connection, and gave up the ghost in the shower.This one is exactly what I hoped for. Friendly customer service.. rapid response.. and helpful operators when needed. My only small complaint is the App needs a little fine tuning. I'm pretty good with smartphones, and had to ask customer service for a hand. They couldn't have been better. The device is working perfectly now, and I took the year long sign-up option. I now have 24 hour a day coverage for a few dollars a month.Thanks Ripple.

Great Idea and poor execution from a start-up company and it could have had dire consequences. I used this as a panic/medical alert device. It is very lightweight and the app was easy to use WHEN IT WORKED. You are probably looking at this product because you want an immediate response to a dangerous or life-threatening situation. I had this device for 2 weeks. At first, I was amazed at how quickly the call center responded. However, during the 2nd week, there were times that either the button or the app simply did not notify the call center. It's pretty simple, you have ONE shot, either it works or it doesn't. Fortunately for me, I was not injured or in need of help when the device did not work at all. Now imagine you are walking to your car and start to feel uncomfortable or suddenly you start having chest pain and you push the button and NOTHING happens! I can't and you simply should not trust that this will work when you need it to. In addition, I tried calling customer service 4 different times over a 2 day period and they never returned my call. More info...I asked the monitoring center what type of training they had and the person said not much "you sort of fly by the seat of your pants". So the "sales" team can tell you anything they want, it's just not reliable and that's the only thing they are selling. I know it seems too good to be true and I fell for it too but please do NOT trust your life to this company. I am being 100% factual and any response by the company will simply be spin, don't fall for it.

Revised review. After trying to figure out how to hook up to Ripple for awhile. today I stumbled across a phone # in Florida. A nice lady called me back and said I was partially signed up. She walked me thru the rest of the procedure. Their # there is 1-754-399-1203.Then we tested the one I had and it didn't connect. so she is sending me a new one. I am so relieved to have this. I also purchased a wall mounted key lock box at Home Depot, and will contact local emergency services with the needed code and other instructions. Highly recommend this device. Have been trying since last October to completely sign up on Ripple. I got stuck on my Samsung s8 android phone on a screen with no where to go. Received message about the $10 fee. Who will help me? I could have used it in December when I took a bad fall and injured myself trying to get up off the floor.

Awesome product! This is a great idea for a simple and effective safety tool! Perfect for so many situations! You can have the device with or without the service - which is awesome and still very inexpensive. Without the paid service it is still an awesome product, as it will send up to 5 people one of 2 pre-setup messages you can edit yourself. This is my second time purchasing. Also, customer service is excellent! If you have a question and call I’ve either gotten an actual person right away, or I’ve left a msg and they call you back SO fast. I highly recommend this!!!! Good for kids going away to college, I got it when I started driving as a Lyft driver.
