Great product except the power cord is too short. You will need an extension cord especially for large items. My main purpose in this purchase was using it to reduce bulk of petticoats my daughter uses for cosplay. Both the storage and travel with them. Other than that, the pump worked very well and vacuumed air out of big bags quickly. Easy to use system and vacuum actually held unlike some others we tried. The selection of bags is pretty good depending on your needs. But not all bags use vacuum, some are small hand rolled bags for travel. Vacuum size is compact enough for travel to use on larger bags, just take an extension cord with you.

The storage bags did not feel flimsy. I like the different size bags. The electric pump was easy to use once you figured out how to hold it over the bag opening. It's only been 2 weeks, but the compression is working. I have saved so much room in the closet by compressing pillows, pool towels, and bedding.

Follow instructions and you’ll be fine; most negative reviews probably failed to create tight seal on ziplock side. I’ve used these vacuum bags to both store blankets & similar thick items in closets, as well as for clothes during travel. Over the long-term in a closet there was some air creeping back in, but not much, and I just vacuumed it out again to make the item thinner. On the road, they performed well & I like that pump is corded not battery so can go with checked luggage. At this price point, you’re getting a viable option: I got 24 bags + pump for <$30. You pay over twice that price for two of the zipper bags made of IP67 which, while more durable, is not worth it to me.

These vacuum seal storage bags are decent, but they definitely have some flaws, which is why I feel they deserve three stars. I like that the set comes in various sizes, which is really helpful for storage. I mainly use the jumbo bags for decorative pillows and the large bags for throw blankets. For reference, one jumbo bag fit five decorative pillows, and one large bag fit two throw-sized blankets perfectly. They do compress bulky items well and help save a lot of space, which is the main reason I bought them. However, the quality feels cheap. One bag busted at the bottom while I was vacuum sealing it, which immediately made me nervous about durability. Out of the three bags I’ve used so far, only one has broken, so it’s not terrible—but it’s still concerning. These don’t feel like bags you’ll be able to reuse many times. The vacuum system is another downside. The small vacuum included doesn’t actually attach to the valve—you just hold it over the opening and hope it stays in place while it pulls the air out. Because of that, air doesn’t always come out efficiently, and if you’re not quick enough sealing the valve afterward, air can seep back in, which is frustrating. The zip seals themselves are also a bit tricky. They’re easy to pull apart and somewhat hard to get started when sealing. The kit does include a separate plastic sealing slider (similar to what you get with Ziploc bags), and you’ll need to use that as the final step to make sure everything is fully sealed. The bags are completely clear, and they are labeled by size, and each bag has printed instructions, which is helpful. Despite my concerns, the bags I’ve packed so far are currently holding up—but I do worry about the seals loosening or the plastic tearing over time. Overall, I don’t regret buying these because they helped me store bulky items more compactly, especially for seasonal storage. I just wish the bags were thicker, more durable, and had a better vacuum connection system. They work, but you do need to be careful when packing and sealing them. Bottom line: useful for space-saving storage, but not the most reliable or durable option. Worth the money for short-term or careful use, but don’t expect long-term reusability.

Storage bags are perfect for every size garment. Don't like the pump. It should fit be more secure in place. A necessity for every house that wants to be decluttered. I wrote the Seller and Amazon in regards to the disfunctions of the pump; requested the pump be replaced. Amazon requested that the entire package be returned. Have not received a response from the Seller. I replied, the pump is FREE, just send another one. Amazon says they can't go that. Still no response from the Seller.
