Hilton Herbs Vitex Plus Herbal Cushing's Support Supplement for Horses, 1kg Tub

My 33 yo Welsh Mtn Pony with Cushings refuses Pergolide, but LOVES these herbs. She's been on them for 6 months now. She's shedding out better than she has in years, though she is still pretty darn hairy. We're not quite into the warm weather yet, so I'm curious how much she sheds out as the season progresses. She had a bad case of laminitis 2 years ago and she's still growing out her hooves... the farrier says in another 6-9 months they'll be completely normal again, and I think these herbs have helped tremendously.

I've had my now 20 year old on this product for over a year now as I heard such mixed results to the medical solution to cushings. I must say I'm impressed to say the least. My mare has an active show life in Hunters and dressage and even some eventing. I had noticed at 18 first, depression after show days and lack luster appearence. My easy keeper was then hard to keep weight on. Finally, the hair stopped shedding , classic cushings. Within a couple months of using this product she came out of her depression, started gaining weight and energy. The hair issue took longest and improved though she still gets a couple more clip jobs, but all in all a good natural alernative to chemicals.

So far seems to be working. He is perky and not having hoof issues. This was recommended to me by my farrier. So far it's good.

I am very pleased to find a product that is herbal and helps my aging horse. He is 34 and his coat was coarse and he wasn't shedding his coat well during the summer. Although it is winter and I do not expect him to shed, I have noticed that he has more energy and his coat has become softer.

Unfortunately, my horse broke out in hives and I couldn't use it.

I tried to use this product. My gelding seemed to get foot sore from it and I did not want to take any chances. I stopped giving him the product and he was no longer sore. He ate the product with no problem. It was very palatable. I can't really say if it worked or not. But, since my gelding is off this product, he has not had any recurring hoof soreness.
