My son really enjoyed putting together the LEGO Technic Space Loader. The build was fun without being overly complicated, and it kept me engaged the whole way through. Once it was finished, I was impressed by how solid it feels and how well the moving parts work. The arm and lift mechanism are smooth and make it fun to play with, almost like you’re controlling a real machine. I also like the futuristic look of the design—it stands out on display but is also sturdy enough to handle plenty of play. It’s the kind of set that both kids and adults can appreciate: kids for the play features, and adults for the cool engineering details. Overall, I think it’s a great value for the price and definitely worth picking up if you enjoy LEGO Technic. It’s a unique build that looks great and is fun to use!

We recently purchased this LEGO Space Rover for our 9-year-old, and it has been a fantastic experience! The level of detail in this set is truly impressive, from the intricate rover design to the realistic physical controls that mimic an actual space rover. Building it was a project in itself—it took about 2-3 days for my child to complete, working in focused sessions. The process requires patience and attention to detail, which I think is a great way to develop problem-solving skills and persistence. It’s not overly challenging, but it does require some effort, making it ideal for kids around 9 to 12 years old. Once completed, the rover feels sturdy and functional, and my kid loves “driving” it around. Seeing how proud they were of their work after finishing was priceless! I would highly recommend this set for any young LEGO enthusiast or space lover. It’s both a fun activity and a rewarding accomplishment.

you get a lot for the price, and is a good size for everyone 8 and up, as there are some fiddly bits in the internals that might catch up younger hands. its a decent build, taking me about 2 hours as an experienced builder, so expect a build time around that mark depending on the skill of the user. its party piece, the raising and lowering of its capsule, is incredibly clever, and the waldo and metal detector combo at the front is quite adorable, but the crane on the side, while being a neat idea, fumbled on its execution, as when the crane is fully extended to the side, the hook is below the attachment point on the external module, and while the external module is on the crane, the crane cannot be lifted back into the storage position, else the external module is brushed off by the wheels. this would have been a 5 star build if it were not for the fact that its secondary play piece (the crane) is poorly designed for play.
