Actually works great. I bought this to power on and test my old Samsung phone and works better than I could have imagined. 0 complaints from me.

This is a solid battery with plenty of power to give life to an old phone. But make doubly sure this battery fits your model of the J7. The J7 was produced in many, many versions from 2015 - 2017. Some of the later versions have a non-removeable battery and this battery does not fit. The description of the product is very good in listing the models supported by this battery and a couple it does not. However, the J737 is not listed in their description as a model not supported, yet that model has a non-removeable battery and this battery won't work. Again, the battery is fine, just a word to the wise to really check whether this battery fits your J7 before buying. Also, make sure you have a removeable battery. If you have to use a heat gun to gain access to the battery in your J7, then you can be pretty sure this battery is not right for your model.

The capacity appears to be about the same as the original when it was new. Installation was not that bad using my heat pad and watching a couple of videos.

Because I am not very technical personally, I did have my son install it. Once past the opening of the case he was able to install it no problem

I can't comment on adhesion or battery life yet since I just installed it. But I am very pleased with it.

I was so happy to get one on Amazon. It works very well!

No need to watch a video, simple to use.

You can replace it yourself with a litttle patience.
