Playing a round of The Waiting Game with your mother (Mother Nature)
I recently ordered this "14Pcs Copper Nails Kit to Killing Trees, includes 12PCS 3.5 Inch Pure Copper Nails Bulk,Stump Removal Spikes Hardware Nails for Trees, Stumps,Landscaping, and Hobbies" to try and address the removal of a tree stump in front of my house. So far, well, I did the steps to take care of the stump. Now we wait. It's been a month since driving the copper nails into the stump. No new growth has sprung up since then, but the stump is still fully intact. Based on everything I've been able to read on the topic, it may take another 5-6 months (or more) to see actual results. In the meantime, I will work under the assumption that this is a "long con" (me pulling one over on nature) and we'll just have to see.The product listing is somewhat misleading and should probably be reworded for clarity/accuracy. This package does not include 14 copper nails. It's 12 copper nails, a drill bit, and a regular nail. 14 pieces. Not 14 copper nails. It is stated very explicitly in the "About this item" section, but is misleading in the item name: "14Pcs Copper Nails Kit" definitely sounds like 14 copper nails.

take another drill bit out with you
The drill bit they supply broke pretty quickly after I started using it. Take another one outside with you. I just put them in so don't know yet if they will work

Seem Like Good Quality - Waiting to See Results
This stump removal set seems like good quality. My rose of Sharon's have taken over and sprouted everywhere, and root killer hasn't worked. I'm hoping these copper nails will do the trick. I've only had them in place for a few days, so it's too soon to tell for sure. The copper nails, stainless steel nail, and cobalt drill bit all feel very sturdy and well-made. I like that it comes with multiple nails - that way I can attack the problem from all angles. The instructions were clear and it was easy to get started. I'll update my review once I've given it enough time to see if it really works. Fingers crossed this will finally solve my problem.

Didn't work
Used the drill, put ALL the nails into one stump. It seemed to help it sprout new branches instead of killing the stump

Disappointed and the stump is still here.
This product did not work on my maple stump. It looks like the nails were coated, not solid and they bent easily. Not thrilled about this product. On the other hand, a biology friend recommended using liquid plumber into drilled holes and the stump is now turning white with the small green shoots dying.
