Ok I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this one. Let me preface this with I researched a lot of red ginseng products on amazon and was put off by what seemed like fake reviews (common for supplants, paid reviews by offering a free bottle). If they have to give it away for free, it probably isn’t very good. The product should sell itself. Even the amazon recommended seems suspicious to me. What made me take the risk on this one was the genuine responses from the manufacturer on here and also the pills themselves, they’re no BS pills meaning not in a capsule full of powder but literally pressed pills of raw material. Now I literally just received these and the packaging is awesome. It’s a small bottle far more convenient in size and the pills themselves are small. I’ve never once looked at a bottle of pills like these and thought “wow, they either put thought into this or other manufacturers suck at their job” the way I did with these. Opening up the bottle I could smell the ginseng, a welcome surprise. Ok let me get to the good part. I’ve been sleepy all day as I didn’t sleep well last night and was a bit annoyed that I haven’t been productive today. I just popped 3 of these on an empty stomach and I’m awake... the raw form must have helped and I can guarantee it’s not placebo because I was lethargic walking to answer the door. If you’re looking for a legit supplement of red ginseng, this is it. I’ve never had ginseng before but the energy is much different than coffee. It’s less jittery, I just feel awake and normal but also calm and warm if that makes sense. Thank you Auragin for making a legitimately awesome product, you don’t have to send me a free bottle because you deserve the profit from each one of these and I don’t want you to go out of business because these are my precious!

I bought this Ginseng for my 96 year old mother who has dementia and aphasia. I did a lot of research on this supplement before I decided on this one. This one is quite expensive, and there a many that are much less expensive, but even though price is a consideration, quality is more important to me. In my research, I found that Red Korean Ginseng is rated higher than other. This specific ginseng is harvested from 6 year old roots, So the ginsenosides are at 8% which is much higher than the less expensive alternative. Also, this product is not an extract, but the ground powder of the whole root. We have been using this supplement for my mother for only a couple of weeks, and saw improvement in her attention and understanding within a couple of days. Since the benefit of this supplement is cumulative and increases with time, We expect that we will see more improvement in her after a month of use. I have also found that it is a good idea to take breaks in taking this supplement as it accumulates in the body with continued use. After a month of use, we plan to take a break of at least a week or possibly two. We started her on 3 tablets per day to see the effect on her and also to give her body a chance to acclimate to it. So far, we are thrilled with the effect that it has had on my mother, and plan to continue using it for her, There may not be a cure for dementia, but this product definitely seems to alleviate the effects of the disease. We are using this supplement in addition to others that are known to slow and possibly help dementia.

Not sure I noticed too much of a difference, but most of my tablets were broken. Having to put pieces together to make 3 tablets may have had an influence on the effect, I'm not sure. I'd be willing to trial it again if I could get a package with intact tablets, but I'm not willing to pay $40 for that risk. Update 2/25/2015: Customer service got in contact with me and was excellent. They sent me another bottle and the tablets were intact this time. The previous time could have been due to poor shipping handling. I've been trying this time without caffeine and I have to say I'm getting the same energetic effect as coffee this time around. It's a caffeine energy feeling, but without the impending crash feeling. I feel a little jittery though, but overall I'm awake, focused, and productive. I'd say give it a shot at least, it does appear to be working now that I have proper tablets.

I've been taking this for nearly three weeks and am very satisfied with this product. I am not in the habit of writing Amazon reviews but after having tried a variety of nootropics and other herbal supplements with little effect I felt inspired to write one for this product. I have always struggled with insomnia, and while it's never been debilitating it has definitely negatively impacted my quality of life over the years. Almost immediately after beginning with this product, my sleep quality has noticeably improved. I now have no difficulty falling asleep - before taking this product, a good night for me would be falling asleep after an hour or so of tossing and turning, anxiously processing nervous thoughts. This seems to have calmed all of that nervous energy - I drift into sleep effortlessly. Even more impressive is the sense of having slept deeply when I wake up - each night seems to match the best sleep of my life before taking this product. I have much more energy during the day and less need to fuel myself with multiple cups of coffee through the day. I haven't noticed any other major changes - I have always been physically active (I am a long distance runner) and while I can't say that I've seen any significant change in my stamina or energy, given the unmistakable difference that this product has made with my sleep I would not be surprised if this ginseng is improving other areas of my physical and psycho-emotional life in more subtle ways. I am planning on pausing taking this product for two weeks, as a number of sources recommend, before resuming taking it for another three weeks. Can't wait to see what other positive changes become apparent after prolonged use.

Saw this brand advertised pretty heavily on here, and decided to give it a shot. Bought a 3000mg daily dosage supply for a month for around $100. Not a bad deal on that. The product does work, but not as strongly as other brands. That doesn't mean you're getting a bad value here. I typically spend around $100-200 a month on Korean red panax ginseng, and take it orally via tablet / capsule, or as a tea. The taste of this korean ginseng is earthy and has a mild bitterness taste to it - most high quality panax ginsengs in my experience taste very bitter and earthy and have sort of a "soy sauce" taste. So it is authentic, just maybe not as fresh or potent as the other competitors brands. One thing Auragin could do is put the ginsengoside content on their bottles. I want to know the rg1, rg3, etc content of what I'm taking. Overall I've experienced stronger erections, higher sex drive, increased energy, increased metabolism, and a better overall positive outlook on life with this product. For the price point, it's not a bad place to start your journey into korean red panax ginseng - but definitely not something to form your overall long term opinion on the effectiveness of korean red panax ginsengs. There are other superior brands out there with higher ginsengoside content and freshness that will definitely pep you up. Thanks for reading, hope this was of help.

I purchased this product based on the detailed information provided, the positive reviews, and the amount of time the Auragin customer service folks take to answer questions in a detailed, professional manner. As others have mentioned, you should take a deep sniff / inhalation close to the container after you open it. The ginseng smell is unmistakable. Even though I just bought this product, I already feel the effects after two days. It's not a jittery, knock your socks off feeling with a crash at the other end. It feels like steady energy. I'm seeing good results so far compared to the other ginseng I was taking. I look forward to many future purchases.

This product isn't for everyone. There is a certain subset that Ginseng just doesn't work for. Unfortunately, I fall into that category. Give it a shot and see if it works for you (just buy 1 bottle). This product looks and smells like ginseng and there is no doubt in my mind that it is the real deal. UPDATE: I gave this bottle to my mom who was struggling with stress and low energy. Her results were completely unexpected! She is a Type 2 diabetic on insulin and metformin and lately she has been lowering her medications to the point she has gone 24 hours without any because her blood sugar is now regulated. She is diligently checking her sugar levels to make sure she isn't too high or too low. She isn't exercising more and if anything (seeing as it's the holidays) she is not eating as well as she normally does, yet her blood sugar levels have normalized. Additionally, last week she had a cortisone shot which should have made her blood sugar high... again this is kind of amazing. Ive tried many Ginsengs for a long period of time and this one is right up there with the best ive had before. For those who have heard about the chakras in our body, ginseng helps to energize your chakras. If your chakras are very depleted, you may not feel the energy change for couple of days. Also for those who have blood pressure, better stay away from ginseng as they can make you feel quite awkward. If you dont feel anything good while taking this, your chakras could be well contaminated and you may not even be aware of it. Im into Pranic healing which makes me feel the chakras and sense the condition they are in. Food like Pork can dirty your aura and your chakras. Yes, this means its better to keep off bacon. Better to avoid the type of fishes without scales as well. (eg. Cat fish) As for the effect of this Ginseng on your body and mind, it energizes both very well and at times I feel like a teenager bursting with energy. (I'm 40 now). But usually its a smooth energy flow unlike some crappy pre-workout supplements with tons of caffeine. It surely helps with the immune power as well. While on Ginseng, Ive never fallen sick. It boosts libido as well (kicks up sex chakra) However like every other supplement, I cycle them on and off as I don't want to depend too much on supplements. I usually take just two tablets in the morning with breakfast and on extremely strenuous days I take two more in the evening.
