Stylish, sturdy, simple, elegant. And a very soft orange lit ring. Looks like a security camera to boot!! So nice to order a product that met/exceeded expectations. I swapped this new doorbell w/old standard nu tone bell that had a way way too brightly lit button. Took all of 10minutes. Easy to install. I’ve searched on/off for three years to no avail — until now. I have the BT6BL model. It’s the exact size replacement as old plastic nu tone button/bell. It’s well made; all metal, not plastic. Screw holes matched old bell’s holes exactly; no pre drilling needed. Screws are a bit larger than old ones, so it’s well mounted. Be careful with screwdriver when mounting so you don’t scratch black paint of screw heads. If you do, touch up with a/black permanent marker. The style looks like an apple product. Sleek & looks great against white door trim. Well worth the price!!

This is a great doorbell, but please note that the switch extends about 1/4" past the mounting plate, so you'll need space behind it for both it and the wires. The product page does note this, but I somehow missed it. But after some quick drilling I was able to resolve the issue and it looks great.

This a great looking doorbell, looks like billet aluminum. I used double sided tape to mount instead of screwing into my house. It works great👍 This is the tape I used from Amazon, EZlifego Double Sided Tape Heavy Duty, Nano Double Sided Adhesive Tape, Clear Mounting Tape Nice product..

This button worked fine for a few months of very limited use (only an occasional press from a visitor). Then one night I noticed the light on the button was not lit up. The button appeared to be fully extended, but contact was not being made to illuminate the button. A quick press/release re-established contact to light up the button. Already, after only a short time, this thing began to suck, but at least it still made the doorbell ring. The issue with the light continued for over a year. A couple days ago, I noticed a faint smell of burning plastic or hot electronics when I entered my house. I was a little worried, looked around for a cause, found nothing, and dismissed it. I noticed it again the next day, but could not figure out what caused it. Today, as I was walking past the doorbell chime, I noticed the smell and thought to reach up and put my hand over the doorbell chime cover. It was hot to the touch. I went out to see the doorbell button, and I could see that it was stuck fully depressed into the switch housing. I had to keep pushing on it over and over to get it to release. A visitor two days ago came by and pushed the button while I was not home and it got stuck for two days sending current to my doorbell and cooked my chime. The doorbell transformer in the basement was also hot to the touch. The doorbell does not work any more. This thing looks good at first, then the light stops working properly, then it malfunctions and damages your doorbell chime and transformer, and it may be a fire hazard. What worthless trash. Now, thanks to this POS, I need to replace all the components of my doorbell system.

I love it. It replaced our old brass ornate one that had weathered badly. The ring of the push button is illuminated, which makes it easy to see in my dark doorway. It blends well with my transitional style outdoor light fixtures. It easy to install. I’m so glad we got it.

In a world of plastic and poor QC, this doorbell button came as a nice surprise. It has a very solid metal housing, the button function is crisp, and the orange/yellow lighted ring around the button really sets it off nicely. The screws where you connect the 2 wires look like they are brass and, again, the internal parts are solid and well made. Sometimes, little things such as this, make the difference in how your home looks. I very rarely give anything 5 stars but this earned it.

The built is great, very solid and stylish. easy to install and it works great for me since my door bell hole in the siding is very shallow, the contour nature of the bell doesn’t not require deep opening to bury the wire harness. The only improvement is the LED ring around the button can be brighter.

Very nice amber light that isn't too bright but definitely shows the button location well in a dark entryway. Classic streamlined design and sturdy metal frame. My existing doorbell was not in a great location for my new Ring doorbell so it needed to be mounted in a location where it could see people and packages. This left me with a hole and extra set of wires. This doorbell was a perfect item to replace our old clunky doorbell in the same location. Works great!
