even though the first one I ordered was broken on delivery the next one came packaged brilliantly and does a wicked job of keeping the pool chlorinated just remember to check the chlorine levels as they can go up quickly.Be gentle with the dial and parts they do not like force the will break.

Good product but it is hard to regulate the chlorine levels in the pool and continually need to change the feed levels

I bought this last year to server a 10ft Bestway pool. It was broadly effective, kept the pool clear during a long hot summer. Two things though - it's a real struggle to get the lid on tightly enough so it doesn't leak; the regulation of chlorine release isn't great.However this year it simply didn't work at all, regardless of the setting it was on, and when I tried to get the lid off again it literally took me an hour of wrestling, WD40, hot water, etc., even with the release cap off. And the O-ring sealing has split as others have recorded.Three green pools later I abandoned it and bought a floating chlorinator, which has its own issues but at least does the job. I suspect that it's simply not built to last, perhaps it doesn't like the hard water we have where I live although I have tried a descaler. I guess if I took the view this was a disposable item I replaced every year, which you probably could do at the price, then great. But it's a shame that something so simple can fail so easily.Still aching from that bloody lid.

The rubber seal under the lid failed after a month. I can’t get enough water to flow to dilute the Chlorine tabs completely.. could just be me but it feels cheap and doesn’t really work. Gave up and back to adding chlorine the old way!
