Solid fiber solution for a clean setup ๐ ๏ธ๐
I have had this Fiber Optic Wall Plate installed for a few months now, and it gets the job done without any fuss. It feels like it is made of high quality materials and the value is good. Supposedly, it can last 50,000 hours, which is great since I plan on being retired by the time this thing needs replacing. This white, 1-port plate works for both duplex LC and simplex SC couplers. It is about 4.5 inches (114 mm) tall and fits a standard 1-gang mounting bracket. It keeps my connections tidy and protects the glass from dust and structural damage. The kit includes all the hardware needed for a quick install in a standard electrical box. It is an awesome way to expand a home network while keeping the look professional ๐Pro tip: Use a canned air duster on the couplers before you snap everything into place. It is a lot easier to prevent a signal drop now than it is to take the plate off and clean it later when your internet starts acting up ๐ฑ๏ธ๐งฑ

Works Perfect for Claro GPON in Puerto Rico
Consider the length of the cable inside. I had to trim the rubber part of my fiber's kink protector to flex it enough for it to fit in the space inside the wall. This is not a defect or limitation of the product, it depends entirely on your wall hole, and the exact fiber terminal you are using

Worked for a week then modem kept disconnecting
This wall outlet only worked for a short period before I had to remove it and just run the fiber direct from the ONT to the modem.

Zero issues.
Been a few months since I've installed this in the networking room. Had to bring fiber through an external wall, no real loss through the bulkhead and haven't had any failures since installation.
