Bought this for our camping trip and the kids love it. It was quick and easy to set up. I love how compact and lightweight it is for traveling. My kids want to have it set up full time at home so now we need to go looking for a stand lol

This hammock is good quality, the support bar is thick and sturdy, I have no concerns with it supporting my weight. The hammock material is very light weight and strong... easily portable with the included bad making it great to take along for trips if you can find a place to hang it. But, I feel a bit claustrophobic in this. I have found I prefer the more traditional woven hammock. I feel less constrained and it is more breathable. I live in a very hot and humid environment so the nylon type material is not very pleasant on the skin for long periods of time. Overall it really isn't bad, just maybe not for me.

Very excited to hang this outside! It was very easy to put together, the support pole is metal & feels very strong. The bag has instructions right on it as to how to put it together but it’s also pretty self explanatory. The pocket is a great touch for a book or a beverage!

Poor quality, carabiner is cheap and faulty, inadequate instructions for use.

This thing is perfect in the summer, instead of the huge hanging chair. its lightweight, nice color and honestly just doesnt take the massive space the normal egg chair does. Its like a portable hammock almost.

I would not recommend using this for adult. It works great for my daughter though. I hung it up in my garage for her to hangout on while I work. It assembles easy and has plenty of room.

It took us a very long time to get the installation done right as the intended tree branch didn't survive a storm, and everything else was too high up for a temporary connection. I say this because after checking out the materials (lightweight and strong) and the construction (very sturdy with no loose threads) we didn't want to damage the chair by leaving it in the sun all summer long.This chair packs up easily and is probably best used for camping or a temporary summer chair using a climbing rated carabiner (look for a locking gate or rescue biner rated for dynamic loads, not the dollar store variety for a backpack) and a permanent eyelet screwed into a beam. Alternately you could wrap webbing around a thick branch and sling it off of it.The material is thin nylon so keep it away from fire. The chair envelopes you when you sit in it, so depending on your size it may take a bit of effort to get out of it once comfortable. It could hold a variety of shapes and weights when new and we want to keep it this way, so we are not going to leave it out for UV to damage it. We love how easily it packs up and will be taking this on trips with us!

Ultimately, your opinion of this hammock chair will largely depend on your use case.If you are looking for a permanent fixture to install at home (for example, underneath your deck or hung from a tree), I think this particular swing might be a bit underwhelming. The length of rope and hardware components are solid enough, but the nylon fabric of the swing itself just doesn't have a premium look or feel to it.I don't believe the fabric would rip or tear from regular use, but it does feel as though it would damage quite easily if a zipper or jewelry got caught in it, or if a branch scraped against it during the installation. For this reason I would more inclined to use this for camping sites only.The included travel bag certainly makes it more convenient to pack for camping trips, and you probably won't mind very much if it gets a few holes in it over time, or if it gets a little dusty with campground dirt & grime.I will say that the price is right, however. This a decent budget swing for outdoor use, and I don't doubt that you'll get your money's worth -- it just isn't as durable as what you would find with a premium canvas hammock chair.
