Everyone loved it.
This costume was great. My grandson loved it and he received many compliments. Wore in the cold Chicago weather with coat underneath and was great.

Worked out perfectly for my 9 year old
Fit perfectly. She wore every day for 2 weeks so it held up well. She was the hit of every costume party she wore it to.

Better than the pictures show!
This is more amazing in person than in a picture. It fits my average sized 8 year old, as well as my very above average (almost) 11 year old, though the giraffe feet rise up from the ground a bit. It works great and holds air in well. The only downside that I should mention is in the design.... where the legs of the costume meet the body of the costume, it hits pretty low on a child's own legs making walking a little hard since their stride is shortened. In one way, it forces the child to waddle which gives the neck of the giraffe a side to side "bounce" when walking which is quite funny, however running from door to door for trick or treating won't be possible. Going up and down stairs is pretty difficult, too. We found that if we raise the leg cuffs of the costume's feet to above the knee, she is at least able to walk semi-normally and stairs are doable, but she still can't run with any real speed. Regardless, the costume works well and is hilarious to boot. My daughter doesn't want to take it off.UPDATE: I took off 2 stars because unfortunately after two wears around the house, the motor stopped working. I tried changing the batteries to no avail. This will be returned and we'll try another. I'm just glad we have some time before Halloween otherwise I'd have a heart-broken daughter. For a $40 item, it should last quite a bit longer.Another update: the second costume arrived in great condition. My daughter was excited to put it on and to trick or treating. However the issue I mentioned above with the costume’s short legs making walking difficult quickly became apparent, as my daughter did not even come close to keeping up with her siblings from house to house, and she was getting exhausted shuffling around trying. We even pulled the legs of the costume up above her knees but it still wasn’t enough. We quickly realized that while adorable, the costume really isn’t functional for trick or treating and she went back home and changed into something else. It’s not the costume’s fault per se, but something to keep in mind.

Amazing
It’s a lot of work when you have to charge them by batteries so I do recommend having a portable along with batteries overall it was a hit everyone loved it. They had attention from all places after while the kids do get tired, but this was great.

Just ok
This costume was pretty hard to walk in fast for my 8 year old daughter. She was not able to keep up with friends. Also, it has blow up hands there for its hard to hold the candy bag/bucket. My daughter had to take off the costume before the end of trick or treating to have fun and keep up with her friends. Things to look for with these costumes, Hands & Feet and leg access. If it the costume drops below the knee its very hard to walk fast or go up and down porch stairs. Good costume for school classroom event that does not require a lot of walking.
