Small Samples of High Quality Teas
(This review is from my daughter, for whom I purchased these teas.)As a huge fan of tea, I'm always on the lookout for sellers offering sample sizes of high quality teas. Beantown has absolutely delivered that here. Their service was quick, prices are very reasonable given the quality and small sizes (especially if you order 5 or more to get the discount), and they even sent me a couple of bonus samples for free with the order. Though I have written more detailed reviews below, in summary, I highly recommend the following teas available here as of June 2021: Darjeeling Castleton (Black), Ceylon Kenilworth (Black), Oriental Beauty (Oolong), Roasted Tung Ting (Oolong), and the Kukicha (Green). For newcomers to the world of tea, I would particularly recommend the Ceylon Kenilworth and Kukicha.Darjeeling Castleton (Black): One of the best black teas I have ever had. Very rich and floral, but still keeps the traditional sharpness of black tea. If you're new to black teas, one of the Ceylon batches would likely be more inviting, but fans of black teas will absolutely love this one.Ceylon Kenilworth (Black): Very pleasant and smooth for a black tea, with an almost woody flavor and not lacking in complexity. Excellent for both tea fans and newcomers alike.Oriental Beauty (Oolong): Quite sweet, floral, and rich. Exactly what you would expect from an oolong, but done very well.Roasted Tung Ting (Oolong): This was my first experience with a roasted oolong, and it delivered a very unique experience. The relative sweetness of oolong is not overpowered by the strong, roasted flavor, and they come together surprisingly well. Not for everyone, but still a great, fascinating tea.Kukicha (Green): Creamy and flavorful, but not lacking in the grassy notes of a typical green tea. A great brew for both tea veterans, and those who may find other green teas too bitter.Hojicha (Green): A very strong roasted flavor that largely changes the innate flavors of the green tea. If you like roasted teas, it is a must-have, but I find the flavors of other roasted tea (such as the Roasted Tung Ting or Genmaicha) more complex and compelling.--I did not order the following two teas, so thank you to Beantown for the unexpected freebies:Assam Hunwal (Black): Strong, sharp, and slightly bitter, this English Breakfast-style tea is a fine sample of its kind.Genmaicha (Green): If you've never had genmaicha, its blend of green tea and roasted rice is very unique. Reminiscent of popcorn in its flavor, it's something everyone should try once and this is a good way of doing so.

6 Flavors to Try (and I'm updating as I do)
I ordered a few different flavors and hope I can review each. If not, I'll just update this review.Cream Earl Grey - 5 stars: as soon as I cut the bag open to pour into my strainer I was in heaven. The smell of bergamot and cream gave me new life and hope for the rest of my day. Once I poured the hot water, though, I was transported to my own personal paradise, where I sipped, and died from pleasure. I'm currently a caffeinated zombie typing this review. This tea is THAT yummy! Please allow me to sample the rest of my teas before you come to hunt me down, though. I'd hate not to be able to review them all.*Update*Mango Black Tea: 3.5 teaspoons in my 45 oz pot seems to be perfection. If it's not obvious by now, I do love black tea. Maybe because it's as black as my horror-writing heart. Maybe it's because of the caffeine content. Or maybe it's both. If you like black tea and you like mango, I urge you to give this one a taste. It makes my taste buds sing and dance, which is great for them, but strange for soulless me to admit. 2/6 tasted. Updates will continue.*Update 2*Monk's Blend: I'm back with 3/6! Tastes a bit like creamsicle black tea, however, the package notes it is a Ceylon tea. To my not-so-refined tastebuds, it's very close to black tea. I also taste possibly some kind of flower, which I hope isn't toxic to the zombie I've become. Caffeine content also feels comparable to black tea. I've not done any research, I'm merely reporting what my discombobulated brain and tasters are telling me to tell you. Another delicious blend I highly recommend. 3 more updates to follow (lemon mint, peppermint, and earl grey).**Last Update**I've finally tasted them all!Earl Grey: WAY better than that nonsense you get in a bag! Disclaimer: I do carry Bigelow with me when on campus or somewhere I can't brew a pot. I will be ordering this in a larger size if available. (3.5 teaspoons for a 45 oz pot)Lemon Mint: made a 45 oz pot with the usual 3.5 teaspoons. Try 2-2.5 as the lemon was a bit overpowering in the brew I made. The lemon perked up my forever closed eyes, though, so I happily give it (as well as every brew thus far 5 stars).Peppermint: I live for peppermint anything. This tea (again 3.5 teaspoons for a 45 oz pot) made me so dang happy! I'm the black-souled horror writer with a heart to match, and this tea alone made me smile! Imagine that!I look forward to ordering more Beantown Tea, as thier blends are truly amazing. They even give you a bit of a tea-ducation with your order! So much love and so much thanks to Beantown Tea and Spices!

decent quality and quantity for the price
I think the amount and overall the quality of this tea compared to the price is actually pretty good. It mostly depends on your own taste. I got 7 flavors this time and I plan on buying more when I'm done with this batch. here's a list of the flavors and my opinion on them:Cherry blossom green tea - personally this is one of my favorites. it smells really good and the taste is actually light and only a little fruityred orange fruit blend - the smell for this one, though good, was incredibly string. my mug smelled like this tea after I washed it so I had to wash it again just to get rid of it. otherwise the flavor was pretty good. not overpowering with a bit of a citrus flavor.apple strawberry fruit tea - have yet to tryirish breakfast - very bold flavor but not at all unappealing in taste. if you like your tea flavor to be a little stronger i'd get this.very berry fruit blend - have yet to trypomegranate green tea - personally i hated this one. the smell was very strong but not unpleasant but the taste was a bit perfumelike. my mom however loves itchamomile - smells horrible but tastes divine.

Only place to get tea from.
Anything from Bean Town Tea is great. Excellent flavor, quality and value. I love the Cream of Earl, Monks blend, English Breakfast, 8 treasures, summer melody, throat soother, leamon mint just to mane a few fir hit. Also most if the fruit teas are great cold. Black peach and white blueberry are some of my favorites cold. You wont be disappointed. Just we wish they had and Armenian tea selection as well.
