Very nice
This works really great. Measures very precisely. Never had a problem with it. And because it doesn't cost much, I would just buy another if something were to happen to the one I have now.

There are far better scales on the market; shop around.
I just purchased a brand new Digiweigh Pocket Scale model DW-AX. When I turned on the scale the readout displayed what appears to be "unt2". Due to this and because it is a new scale, I decided to complete the calibration process. It was at this point that I discovered the Digiweigh's uselessness. The instructions say hold the MODE key when the scale is off and press ON/OFF once to activate calibration mode. The display settles at 0.00. Press the MODE key once and the scale will display "CAL" which then changes to "100.00", the proper calibration value. I'm then instructed to place the calibration weight in the middle of the weighing platform and press MODE again once. Then the display SHOULD indicate "PASS".Actually, the only thing that happens is that the scale continues to flash "100.00" continually giving neither a PASS or FAIL readout. The scale simply cannot be calibrated and I've subsequently read similar comments from at least a dozen other people. If you want to weigh hundredths of a gram, you need a precision instrument, which the DigiWeigh is not. The flimsy plastic construction looks and feels more like a toy than a tool of accuracy. There are far better scales available (in terms of construction and function) that are similarly priced, and I encourage readers to shop around until you find one.

Not AAA battery
You won't be able to replace the battery. The batteries supplied are 1/16" smaller than a normal AAA. A normal AAA (Amazon Brand) will not fit.

Great for any coin buyer.
It is very handy and extremely acurate. It fits in my pocket. I can make sure that the coins are of the appropriate weight. I have been using this scale for a couple of months. Works great.

DigiWeigh Scale
This seems to work fine for my needs, which are in no way scientific or where absolute precision is paramount. That being said, I've put it through some different self concocted 'tests' to see if it is consistent in its measurements. It is, both with the tray and without. Personally, I would always use the tray and then reset the tare. So far, no problems. One issue. . . the supplied calibration weights. Both were supplied, so that isn't the issue. The 100 gram weight consistently comes in at 100.12 grams, which is more than accurate for my needs. However, the 5 gram weight consistently shows up as 4.38. At this point, I'm not sure where the problem lies, in the scale or in the calibration weight. Again, my needs aren't that critical, so I can live with the disparity.

Poor quality
The scale doesnt sit level it teeters, the 5 gram bar included doesnt weigh 5 grams. I tested a nickel on the scale and it measures weight accurately. I use it to measure copper pennies so it works. I just was very unsatisfied with the quality of the product and the "5 gram gold plated bar". I would return it, but its not worth my time.

Okay...
The picture would make most think that there's a glass plate affixed to the top, and this is what you weigh items on top of. In fact, it simply comes with a little plastic dish that you place on the actual scale. Looks good in the picture, but not so much in person. This was a bit of a peeve, but I still would have thought it was okay if not for the amount the scale was off. It measures 5 grams as about 3.2. But that's fine, you can just calibrate it... With exactly 500 hundred grams. How many of you have a spare weight of exactly 500 grams lying around? Not many I'm guessing. The other scale I have has a calibration weight of 10 grams, and it's still accurate at up to 1000. The difficulty calibrating is a little upsetting.
