Replaces LIRA ITALY No. 008445
I bought this with the hope that I could replace a LIRA 008445. This is the Franke equivalent, given that they took over the LIRA branding. I could only buy a LIRA model from Europe, so this is the best alternative. Excellent quality, and has the ball bearing spring to allow you to switch from plugged to draining.

Still doesn’t fir
We have a 22 year old Franke sink and unfortunately this is the second sink stopper we have purchased that still does not fit. It still slowly leaks. Appears to be well made and was delivered quickly but we had to return. Not sure if we’ll ever find the correct part

Great Product, delivered on time at the right price.
I used this product in an older sink and it fit perfectly. Great replacement that doesn't leak. Wonderful product. Thanks to Amazon for carrying it!!!

Sink would not hold water
My Franke sink is about 20 years old. Sadly this replacement didn't work. Sink would not hold water...even worse than what I was trying to replace.

They still fit a 28 year old Franke sink.
To replace Franke sink drainer baskets that wore out. Same fit as my old ones. They fit my 28 year old Franke sink

Franke sink strainer basket
I just got my new strainer and I am so happy that I purchased it. I used to buy cheap strainers for my sinks and this new one is so much nicer. It has a nice heavy weight, shiny chrome and push down stopper feature. It makes my sink look brand new along with the new grid I purchased.

Perfect fit to my 12-year old Franke sink (KS-GEX62OD-LH). World of difference to those low-quality flimsy lightweight generic alternatives, which do not work in the first place. This original strainer is much heavier and sturdy. Hope that it will last me another 12 years!
